alienware is the Apple of the PC industry. even with their overpricing, the alienware for 2300 is much better than the 1600x900 macbook for 2700.

I can agree with the user friendly bit. Battery life is a bit of an unfair comparison though. If you were to buy a $1000 ultrabook w/ windows it would typically have the same if not more battery life.

Even for more complex tasks Mac OS X is equipped better than Windows, because thanks to BSD core it shares very important tool with Linux - console. Windows PowerShell is fine, but it has shit on any decent console implementation. As occassional Linux user, I find a lot of things easier to do with console than with GUI, because it takes considerably less time.

I just mean for specific applications and navigation. I'm very keyboard shortcut oriented, whereas OSX is more focused on using the touchpad for navigation

I agree apart from one exception:

The iPod Classic. No other product comes close to its convenience and reliability.

It fits my needs perfectly: a no-frills mass music storage device.

Also, iTunes (although I don't buy the music off it) is much more user friendly in creating custom playlists and general pleasure. I tried a Zune and absolutely hated Xbox Music or whatever the fuck its called so returned it and got a new iPod Classic instead.

My only fault with the iPod classic is that the click-wheel seems to have a self-destruct button that goes off the minute the warranty expires.

Jep, the Ipod classic is probably the best piece of technology, ever. I mean, I don´t know shit about computers, pcs, macs, whatever, I´m not a gamer and as long as I can access the Internet with it and as long as it runs Age of Empires II, I´m okay with it.
But the Ipod classic is a completely different matter, I´ve had mine for 4 years now, with 80 GB on it, and it still runs perfectly like on the first day, I still have space on it for more music, even if I listen to tons of music. I love that thing.

Definitely, the one thing Apple's done so well they haven't had to change it for 6 years.

If they are ever going to discontinue it, I´ll buy 3 or 4 of them and just store them originally packaged so I´ll still have a new one if mine dies...I tried tons of different MP3 players before, because I easily manage to destory anything I own by clumsyness. Each one dead after half a year, if it lasted long..no chance that I´m ever going to use another thing.

Whats even more annoying is when someone does lung at you and hits air but stilll kills you. While you are in their face shoving your knife up their arse and the game says "nah bro you aren't stabbing him, just tickling". I was never a knifer to begin with but when the situation requires me to knife I get jack all and die.

Yeah that sucks as well especially when I'm doing well (I have a pistol only class, after watching a drift0r video, and I do extremely well and I get into the zone). One time I had to reload but the guy was right in front of me, I think he too had to reload as well, I would usually just try and reload but he was vulnerable and I would have the speed advantage. I ran right up into his face melee. I was literally up against his hitbox and then he knifed and killed me. In the kill cam my knife was right in his face and he backed up, after what would have been a kill, and knifed and it hit air but I died. I was standing where I had initially knifed him and he backed up (i didn't run forward after the first swipe) and he got me from 1m further back.

From then on I never try to knife and if both guns are out of ammo I will try reloading as it has a higher success rate then trying to knife someone.

i played a knife only class for a while. fun as hell for domination. i got more kills with tomahawks and stolen bettys then the knife itself

I hate using betties. They may have the bigger blast radius but man everyone knows how to avoid them. Claymore all the way. Knowing how to place them will save you from getting sandwiched. Also if you are smart placing them in unexpected areas can earn you a funny kill. I have a few favourite spots to put them because it's a place where normally people just run through the area and not expect a face full of claymore. Not to sound hipster but I was using them way before wingsofredemtion made a video using them. Don't care if others use them as they don't know how to use them properly but I'm sure someone would say I only started using them after wings. A nice class to go with is a pistol only class(assuming you are using scavenger) plus claymore. Great rushing and defending class (depending how you build it).

no one ever seems to use claymores. mainly because theyre such a late level weapon i assume. its near impossible to get the challenges with them

I see it now and then but poorly placed. People still prefer bouncing betties for some reason. They are more of a warning then a good way of picking kills. I find they are a bit too easy to use and doesn't give me that many kills in comparison to the claymore. Even a panic claymore (when you shit out of luck and you place it in front of you as an enemy comes at you or is shooting you close range) gives me a 80% chance of a revenge kill from it. Betties has a longer delay and they will just crouch after you die.

There are challenges for the claymore? I just use the however I want to. I even permanently unlock them when I finally decided to prestige. They are less helpful without scavenger still working my way to it.

Thats more of a engineer/blackhat challenge. I was thinking around the lines "get 500 kills with the claymore" sort of deal. In any case I don't go for challenges. Mindless fun and ultimate rage is my thing on CoD.
