He was 17. He had a life to live, shit even changes he could have made. You never met him. Who are you to judge?
Also there was no criminal record. http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-504083_162-5783/trayvon-martin-update-school-marijuana-suspension-no-criminal-record/
User avatar #1024 - lonewolfjericho (07/14/2013) [-]
Yeah it's a tragedy blah blah blah the fact still remains that Zimmerman was told to not pursue Trayvon but did so anyway which means Zimmerman was in the wrong to begin with. All he had to do was stay inside of his car and let Trayvon go about his business but as it always is adults can never leave kids alone and let them do what they are doing and feel as though they can do whatever the hell they want regardless of the law.

well if there had been a bunch of crime in your area and someone suspicious was walking around would you want your neighbor to look the other way or keep an eye on him...... the fast still remains that lil shit attacked someone that night and lost his life for it. he could have kept walking away from zimmerman and when zimmerman lost it and shot him in the back zimmerman would be locked up for life and if martin lived he would have a huge check when they got done sueing and collecting all the government handouts he can get.

Yet that belief is incompatible with Christianity.
User avatar #21 - baaltomekk (06/14/2013) [-]
The biggest problem of christianity is the bible. It prevents evolution (no pun intended) of christianity to reflect the present knowledge of mankind.
User avatar #36 - thereoncewasaman (06/15/2013) [-]
You can't have evolution of a religion. Why you ask? Because a religion (I'll use christianity as an example) follows the doctrine set down by a book that is supposed to contain the true word of god. You can't suddenly go "Oh you know what, that book is wrong about that, lets change it a bit", because they would be invalidating the claim that their book contains the true word of god (and that cause needs no help anyway). Religion is inherently resistant to change because of the very nature of its doctrine, and its a big problem because it holds us back when it tries to get people to adhere to a 1st century collection of writings from a nearly illiterate tribe of sheep herders. If you call yourself a christian then you must believe everything the bible says and must absolutely adhere to its doctrine. If you don't accept parts of the bible or the doctrine of christianity then you are better off calling yourself a deist.
