Huh, I hadn't heard about his back story--honestly, I never legitimate learned about WWII in school.
I went to a Catholic school two out of four years of high school and we didn't even get close.
I'm sure my public school learned all about it when I was gone, though.

My cat Dozer was relatively skinny, but then we left him in the car of my stingy grandma over vacation
and we got home after a few days and he was literally double his size.
My mom took him to the vet because she thought he had a tumor.
He was just like "Nope, he's just really fat"
