BTW, what's Iowa like?

Dayummm. I'm from NY. It's pretty warm here right now, but the weather rarely gets that extreme. What's the "largest city" over there?

I'm planning on moving to NYC after I graduate from college in a few years, because I want to start my fashion designing business there :3
But right now, in Cedar Rapids, it's raining off and on.

The biggest city in Iowa would have to be Des Moines, I would assume--since it's the state's capital.
But I wouldn't exactly know; I don't read up on history and I'm two hours from the capital lolol.

You're gonna like NY. Be careful, it's not as bad as the movies make it out to be, but you need a smart head on your shoulders. How far along are you in college?

I'm just nervous about going since I'm from a place like Iowa lol.
And I just finished a year-and-a-half of community college--half a year taken during high school and a full year on campus.
I'm going to University of Iowa this fall for about three years to major in fashion design.
I'm nineteen right now, btw, so I'm making good timing lol.

Well, hopefully when you're in your 20's, you wont be too naive. I mean, that's all that it takes to make it anywhere, caution and prudence. Do you have any friends or family out here?

I'll admit I'm a very smart girl--I get good grades and stuff--but sometimes the most obvious things tend to avoid me.
And no, I don't have any friends or family out there, which is the scary part.
But I'll be by myself at a university for three years, and hopefully studying a year abroad, so I'm sure I'll gain a ton of experience.
