For sprites, there's a little paintbrush in the sprites box. Click that and it'll add a new sprite.
For the text, the regular font is 8bitoperator, and Papyrus is, well, Papyrus.

also if player HP = 0, music stops
then after a while, it resets HP and keeps going, regardless of player input

First off:
Never-Ending attack, does not prompt or take user back to main interaction menu (fight options, mercy, act, etc...)
Some attacks are little too immediate. this could be because of the never-ending attack.
At one point or another, I had to press [Z] twice for it to register an attack. Happened twice out of the 10 plays.
Suggestions for attacks: On the bone zig-zag, it seems a little too easy (Unless the heart will be blue and it will give the player the option to jump, then it's just fine!)
If the heart is red and will move, try throwing in a blue attack in the middle of the zig-zag to give the player that sense of urgency of oh **** should i move or stay or ?!
Also, I notice papyrus' eye is yellow, as per the popular AU.
Instead of making the player heart yellow, why not have Gaster Blasters that are instead Sans' face, but droopy and distorted/glitched, since is grieving, and shoot out yellow beams during blue attack sequences (like that bundle of blue bones) to give the player that same sense of urgency and pre-placement that Sans gave the player during a few attacks, most notably his first barrage.)
Other than that, not bad. Graphical glitchon Papyru's left glove. You may want to have it so it is layered instead. or outlined.

Difficulty is good, but for the blue bones and white bones kind of "barrage" it'd be near impossible on blue heart. Maybe for red heart, I was able to get out with no hits at least once.
Try spacing them more, if you intend to use blue-heart throughout the entire thing. Or are you wanting to have it be redheart first, like in Sans fight?

i nthe beginning, it's red heart, the zig zag bone attack starts and I can ONLY move up, no other directional key.

Fixed the blue heart stuff partially, you're still unable to move while in the air, can't figure out what causes that
The FIGHT problem comes from holding Z too long. Basically, the only choices are it possibly missing your pressing of Z, or auto-missing if you hold Z too long

or hm... actually i would say for the zig zag space them a TEENIE bit closer. I find that is only dodgeable at an EXACT spot, consistent for each zig zag.

i believe it was the odd-th turn. Like 3rd, or 5th, or 7th, ish.

Well I can't exit it, however, if I glitch the left arrow key enough and tap [ Z ] at the right moment, I can go into fight. The ACT menu is still up the turn after I glitched it and went through the attack, and I have to glitch the left arrow key again to do attack again.
Relevant to that glitch, and normal gameplay, the menu heart will glitch the options (mainly, ACT and FIGHT) so they flash dark orange and yellow, while you're trying to dodge Papyrus' attacks.

also the reason the soul is blue on the Omega Flowey thing is you're playign as Sans, not because you're affected by gravity.

This papyrus **** is pissing me off
I literally have it set to broadcast an attack, and then it does it, and the attack just stops halfway through

It's because it broadcasts when a variable condition is met, if "turn" is equal to 1.
You need to make sure that whatever is changing the "turn" variable does it right.

Good, ut you seem to have removed some things that were important (like the fight button mechanic)
I see your problem with the jumping. You need to separate your jump script from ANY other movement script. Also, make it hide when text is showing, or else it looks weird.
Last thing: jump button is up button in Undertale, so tjhat might be a little more natural to players. That's all for now.

That's what Imeant, the no move while jump thing. Separating the jump from the mvoe script will make you ablwe to jump while moving.
It'd take longer, but I have a little faith in this one.
