Nazi Scientists found out all sorts of things about the results of exposure, radiation, biology from extensive dissection, the separation of siamese twins, and all other sorts of neat stuff because they weren't bound by moral constraints and had a near endless supply of Jewish people to experiment on.

It was a great idea. Now if only we could do that today. On prisoners who are sitting on death row perhaps?
User avatar #41 - sorrowofdaedalus (03/27/2013) [-]
Well, personally I'd like to see death row prisoners placed in an ancient arena style gladiator combat with swords and armor, as well as maybe things like cars to smash each other to death with. Of course, there's plenty enough that we'd still have many that could be used for experimentation. I never got what the rationale was behind giving them a peaceful death if it was decided that what they did now makes their life forfeit.

I guess it's as the Mariner says, a gamble between Life and Life-In-Death.

Either way, it -is- a great idea, even if it would get all kinds of media flak. Honestly don't see why lifers/death row inmates shouldn't be allowed to do that. Think of the economic advantages as well.

I also would love to see a gladiator type event.. That would be incredible! I also think that if inmates were used to scientific experiments, less people would commit terrible crimes. They would be afraid of being experimented on!

This really makes too much sense NOT to do it. Someone get a hold of Congress.

There's a site where you can post something you want to see done in the world and get votes on it.. Someone should do that..

Experiments performed in living human beings, since they considered them disposable.

That's what I guess he's going to explain.

I think she was just trying to get attention. We just had a whole "Bisexuality" craze at my school where nearly every emo and female thought they were bisexual (But would never sleep with a member of the same sex "Cause that's gross")

Yep, I know. That's from The Atlas of Middle-Earth, isn't it? Well, I made the comment based on the map shown in the trilogy.

Good point. It's just that few people actually know what lies beyond the map used in the trilogy.
