Well on a technical level it is somewhat criminal, at least in the United States, which is where these people are. There are laws regarding journalism which include having to report biases. Don't quote me on what exactly the laws are, but I know they exist.

You could technically argue prostitution, I suppose. But it's still not as big of a deal as people seem to make it.

as ishallsmiteyou said.its not about the information. it's about the quality of the information and how it is being portrayed. people on other sites are being banned for discussing the subject. in addition, the ex-boyfriend had proof that his accusations were true. for example her own blog says that her definition of rape includes cheating on someone because if you are in a relationship and you cheat on someone you are fucking them under false pretenses. and she admitted to him (he has screencaps of a fb convo) that by her definition she was raping him.

Certainly not worth shutting down a website over. Nor particularly losing any sleep. I just want to, and I do, play video games.

I don't care about video game journalism. If I did I'd still be subscribed to that stupid Gamestop magazine.

It's not just about that, it's about the corruption and the fact that they pretty much destroyed one of the few places on the internet to allow freedom of speech.

It only happened because people couldn't shut up about it, and people are getting death threats/attempts over something that isn't criminal, nor even that bad morally.
