Well, she is now 1 year old and completely insane. Spoiled rotten. She hates plastic bowls, only drinks water out of a drinking glass or the running water from the sink. She keeps my towel warm while I am in the shower and she sits between the two shower curtains. She takes good care of her little sister Elf the bunny. She fetches elastics and sponges and sits on command. :D
I've already told you my cats name is Zorro. He's just about two years old, and we got him from a fostering program with the humane shelter, where we take care of rescued kittens and make sure that they're used to human contact before they go up for adoption. Zorro was part of a litter of three, he was the smallest and always got picked on by his slightly larger siblings. After he was old enough to be adopted, I filled out the forms and took him home with me. (My parents are divorced and I live with my mom and stepfather, my dad and stepmother are the ones who foster the kittens.) He stayed there with us for a couple months. He liked everyone, but he always stayed next to me, even sleeping on my shoulder while I was at the computer, and on my stomache or back when I was asleep. He didn't get along well with our other cat, Molly, who is a 7 year old Russian Blue. After a few of their fights (most of which were started by molly) I came home and my mom started flipping out, calling him a monster, apparently because he was defending himself and had grown quite a bit by this point. So I had to take him back to my dads house, and now I only get to see him on weekends. He gets along well with my dads cats, and even got to spend a couple weeks with his other siblings before they were adopted. (He was also considerably larger than them at this point and took the opportunity to exact some revenge for the bullying as a kitten.) He is now very mild natured, eats everything within sight, including many things that are not supposed to be eaten... like the mail, and enjoys shredding rolls of toilet paper. Whenever I'm there he'll lay beside me in the living room, and whem I'm in my bedroom/my dad's computer room he'll sit in the cat tree outside the door and he won't let any other cats in. I have been woken up many times by Zorro chasing off one of the others, and when my dad or stepmother comes to see if I'm awake, he jumps to the top of the tree and smacks at them til they leave
