So there's 8 parts. JoJolion is ongoing. So we might have 9 parts at one point.

While JJBA is someone died, someone died. None of that "lol I'm back" bullshit. So when they lose someone (As you can see in the content, Kakyoin's death) He will never return. Ever.

JJBA also strives on making band references. As well as making characters from older parts return in newer parts. Even the most recent games makes Speedwagon from part 1 show up at the end of part 3 due to the game's villain messing with space and time.
