At least use your period right...
It goes INSIDE the quotations.
"Like this."

No, it doesn't. The period is a part of main, outside sentence. Otherwise, the sentence itself would have no grammatical finalisation.
I think you meant "definitely", which is the correct usage.

I think you meant "definitely".
You're thinking of quotation marks used in dialogue, wherein everything is enclosed in the speech marks. In that sense, you'd be right; but this time, I'm afraid you're not.

"When it comes to commas and periods, though, logic doesn't enter into the equation, at least not in the United States. Universal American usage places commas and periods inside the quotation marks, regardless of logic."

He shouldn't even be using quotations because he is not quoting anything and it is already given that he said what is in the quotation marks. In other words... the author of a book wouldn't quote a narration.

Haha actually yes.
Sometimes I'm really tired... and I don't check though.
But recently... people have been saying defian.tly just to give me notifications.
And now some people are correcting people using it properly... and I'm just sitting here thinking about how stupid they look.

You made an account dedicated to grammar. Nice.
Oh wow. Do you only use this account to correct when people make that typo? Hahah.
