I think I know what you're getting at.

You want to know why the Sandy Hook school shooting didn't even phase me and I was confused why people were so upset initially? For at least a month or more prior I had heard one or two people dying on the news nearly every single day. All that death... and I really did care about each one. I suppose if it had been a natural disaster and not mass murder I would have been more vocal about my opinion.

There are so many people and so many things happen, it's perfectly possible for both your point and YllekNayr's point to be true. Everything eventually kills somebody.

i wasnt saying hes using womenrbad as an example im saying its compatible to just reading something, without facts and making an opinion about it. Hes saying that single mothers choose to be single parents are in someway hurting society, that they are only doing it because its what's right for them and not the child. Being a parent is about making tough choices and a lot of women could raise a family alone if they felt like it/wanted to. The original article seems to be taken out of context as some "strongwomyn" stance when its simply asking, if you had a choice to be a single mother or in a relationship, which would you choose? a choice some people don't even consider since traditional family is so imbeded in modern society that not abiding to it is seen as heresy

You make some good points about about people taking the article being out of context thinking that it is just feminist fuel. I'm also too lazy to research for credible papers on how single parenthood affects the child so I really have no comment there. Nonetheless, his argument still holds. A women can't outright say that parenting a child as a single parent is objectively a good thing just because she likes parenting as a single woman

my point is hes using an analogy based on an abstract from a paper we know nothing about, no data to be found for miles, more than outdated(if it ever was credible) seeing as its almost 2 decades old.
Do you ever read a comment online that says "womenRbad" and then try to cite it as evidence that women are infact bad? because thats what he is doing.
He is spreading ignorance because he assumed the abstract he read is true, without fact checking anything or providing any evidence himself.
Abstract=/= proof
abstract=/= data
abstract=opinion on their interpretation of data
i dont know about you, but i like to fact check the shit i talk about before i spread misinformation.

You are misinterpreting his comment. He's not basing his analogy on the abstract, he's just making a comment about the original article as a separate rebuttal. Also, no where in his argument does he imply that "womenRbad", he's just using his analogies to prove his argument about judging actions, not about hating women.

And I don't like Dead or Alive either, I'm just saying if it gets made I'm not too excited for it. Fanservice is just a cheap tactic to get people to flock to something based on our most primal, vile, instincts.

Different strokes for different folks then. I really never saw anything wrong with fan service so long as it doesn't interfere with the plot or make a character act uncharacteristic.
