I tried getting her ending, for she is my true love, but wound up dating Emi(which I still loved). What should I do to ensure a Hanako relationship? Should I go to the library ASAP?

Also, once you started dating Emi after the incident at the track, then you probably have small odds of getting to be with any other girl in the game, so it's rather pointless to continue the game hoping you'll get to date Hanako. Instead, restart the game, finish Hanako's route first (if that's what you want) and take care of the other routes another time.

If you want to get Hanako's ending, then when you are at the track and get the choice to either go for a sprint or cool down, choose to take it easy and that will lower your 'reputation' with Emi. Afterwards it's cake, just choose whatever you think will get you to Hanako's ending, and watch out when you speak to Lilly, and choose to agree with her, otherwise you'll get a boring ending.
I tried to keep this spoiler-free, because every route is different.

Lol, I know what you mean, that's what I was thinking, but I ended up with Emi's good ending anyways. Afterwards.. when getting Hanako's good ending, I cried like a bitch, so you should be prepared for feel-itus as well, becase Hanako's so emotionally secluded, every time you will cause her to smile you'll feel incredible.
