Gravity wouldn't decrease as you get closer to the centre. Gravity though calculated as if from a single point (cause its a shitload easier and still works) doesnt work like that. The closer you are to the centre, the more the Earths mass is around you rather than "under" you. So at the dead centre, gravity would be pulling you in all directions equally (assuming perfect sphere and equal density throughout).

By magic the tunnel is on the Earth's rotation axis, so the tunnel spins around you.
A lot of suspension of disbelief is required in this this hypothetical, otherwise you could just say you die pretty much instantly because its pretty damn hot under the Earths crust.

Actually, I dont see how the Earth rotating would prevent you from reaching the centre even if the tunnel wasn't on the rotational axis.
