- Ya know there's something that's been bothering me for a while…
He took his mother's name, he's actually (actual spoiler for the start of Part 4 i guess?)
a Joestar. Josuke Joestar.
But yeah as the other guy said, the kanji for "suke" can also be read as "Jo"
(same spoiler as before)
or Jo Jo
instead of "suke"
Everyone else did a decent job explaining it, so I'll just mention the ones you missed. There's also George and George II, and to explain those, that's because, in Japanese, George is written out as "joji" Then, there's Giorno Giovanna (Gio-Gio), Jolyne Joestar, Johnny Joestar, and another Josuke Higashikata (again, with the "suke" being able to be read as "jo"). There's also the adopted baby, Shizuka Joestar ("Shizuka", written as じょう, can also be read as Jo. Again, japanese language fuckery)
Remember that this is written in Japanese.
In Japan, surnames go first so it's: Ku
As the other guy said, the -suke in Josuke's name can be read as Jo in Japanese. Also, if Joseph knew that he had a son, he would be Josuke Joestar
You're forgetting about (chronologically) first Jojo:
seph, aka, Jesus fucking Christ!
助(suke) can also be read as "jo" because japanese is cool like that.

- Dude Symmetra's primary fire can deal up to 120 dmg a second, …
TBH a Symmetra would probably be my go-to power-up target if there were a lot of people on point.
Way higher damage than Reinhardt, and even LESS aiming required.
a symmetra with a pocket mercy is scary enough already
There were no enemies in my sight, though, and I clearly wasn't ready to attack since I was working on a defense. So I was caught of guard, had to quickly find someone to attack, and ended up only getting a Tracer before it ran out.
Theoretically, yes, boosting Symmetra could work, but there's a reason it's not generally done.
