I think we both can agree that Trump is primarily fueled by ego. Do you think his ego would allow him to do a shitty job as president? I really don't think he is in it for personal gain, besides in the ego department.

i think he's primarily fueled by power. he's got billions and international deals and good public opinion from the apprentice and all the being in the public eye.

that being said he's looking for more power and the only thing he doesnt have is political power. being president more than sets you up. sure the pay is negligable (250k/year) but having the power of the military, rights to veto bills, set a political agenda and complete it, to be able to write a budget regardless of whether or not it has to be approved by congress.

basically he's looking for political gains people like you and i couldnt imagine. the kind of set up and power you get from that is beyond dollars or polls or any of that
