Lann is just obsolete, and Nexon seems to want it that way. Lann is from a time where Vindictus at least TRIED to seem realistic, and holy crap did I have fun in those times. Problem is, he's being horribly outclassed by the newer characters. Vella is a dual-wielder as well, only difference is that her DPS is higher than sword Lann's, she has a higher chance at surviving, she can deflect projectiles, and hell, she has a skill that keeps raid bosses down, just like Karok, Kai, and especially Hurk. Now that swords are out, I guess spears are the way to go, right? Nobody has a DPS quite like Spear Lann's wrong again. Kai can attack constantly while moving, that in itself is a big plus, Karok is just made for bosses, everything you'd want in a raid, he has, when she's not constantly attacking, Vella's still cause major damage, and Hurk seems to be a more suicidal version of Karok, only if skilled enough he can still get the job done. I think in these past couple of years, Lann has really gotten the short end of the stick (Making 1000 Needles an SP skill, only giving his dodge greater distance rather than invul frames) at least compared to the new characters. I think sword Vella's style shouldve just been a sword Lann revamp, as it wouldve made him actually useful in Raids, the game's main content.Shame, I really liked Lann too, but it looks like im going to be maining my Hurk now, at the early 60s he outclassed my 70 Lann. Oh, and dont pit a "skilled" Lann against ordinary players, seeing as if you put him up against a skilled Fiona, Evie, Kai, Karok, Vella, or Hurk, he'd get rekt. #78 - angelicdemon (01/17/2014) [-] Whatever, I'll stick to my guns.
