lordaurion (11/26/2013) [-]  The puzzles were either baby simple or tear your hair out switch hunts. Monster variety was little to none, 90% of what you encounter being re-skinned bokoblins. There was only a single town to explore and no one to interact with outside of that. On the ground there was nothing to search for, almost every area being a plain corridor with no secrets. Hardly any useful items. Zelda is all about the items. The ability to upgrade your things was pretty cool, I'd like to see that stay. Fi. Fi was fucking horrendous. She never shut up, she had an awful personality. You couldn't even ignore her like you could Navi or the other companions, she would stop you for a 2 minute cutscene every time she wanted to say something. She would remind you what a rupee was every time you booted the game, tell you you had low health like you couldn't see that and even bug you that your batteries were low. I honestly cannot remember a single likable character in the whole game. #94 -

I fuckin loved upgrading things. Fuck Fi. 3 hours of telling me my wii remote is about to die before it actually does. What the fuck. Does Nintendo have a deal with battery companies or something? I do have to agree that there was quite a bit of lacking in the overworld.. But Fi.. god yes, I have to whole-heartedly agree that Fi was just a terrible character and it was laughable how they tried to give her some bit of a personality and the very end of the story.  I think it had all the potential, it just didn't have much to do with flying around and the 1:1 motion controls were just not for me. Aside from that it was a pretty well made contribution to the zelda franchise. #42 -

Korra was raised with the idea that she was supposed to be the guardian/savior/balancer/whatever of the world. Someone important and powerful, a role model for everyone to look up to. That she was invincible.
Then she gets totally ****** and realizes she's ******* nothing and her job can easily be done by others.
That kind of **** will easily put a huge ******* hole in your mental and emotional well-being. She had a god damn existential crisis along with ******* PTSD.
I kind of agree that Asami didn't get enough focus, but people rag on Korra for too much and just wave away all her very real (in the fictional universe) issues because she's supposed to be the avatar. That in itself was one of the problems she had to constantly deal with.
I'd also just like to add that Korra wasn't crippled because of a broken back, it was mercury poisoning which can actually cause paralysis.

darthblam (07/19/2015) [-] The holy priestliness, heaven/hell-like realms, and dimensional beings kind of **** is a bit out of place. It conflicts with the already established lore of spirits and all that. It's simple and doesn't have that much depth, sure, but it is what it is and it worked.
Also the "one wish" thing just kind of makes it sound like a Zelda story.. With Unalaq being Ganondorf..
I mean, I don't know if you're looking for criticism from me here but.. yeah, that's my opinion on that.

Turning it into "the universe" doesn't really up the seriousness of it that much at all if the only part of that universe you know is your world. . In book 2 at least..
Book 4 was just Earth Hitler... it was cool, but not demi-god potentially destroying humanity seriousness like with Unalaq.
But anyway.. it's been a nice chat, but it's 2AM here and I'm tired as **** after watching Antman earlier. Great movie, you'll love it if you've liked any of the other previous Marvel movies.
I'm going to sleep for now.

You'd probably prefer the polygonal lasso tool, which uses straight lines.
Just go around the whole thing with it, then switch to the cursor tool that can click and move things, then Ctrl+c, then Ctrl+v on a new page that should be the appropriate size.
Make sure the background is empty, which is usually checkered to show that it is. Then save it as a .png and you can open it to drop on whatever you want.

While I made it easier on myself by pretty much halving the frame rate, it still takes a while and a fair amount of patience.
