nickypickle (11/30/2015) [-]  mainly, the best fans happened to be the ones who waited for this for over 3 years, or the ones who just happened to find it on every other day and went in blind. expectations are everything, for this case. you were expecting the best and only the best, and got something average. it is definitely overhyped, and there are really a lot of flaws that could've been worked on, like art, but thats really all there is to it. the "obsession" part comes from rabid fans who loved the characters and their writing. the whole experience was meeting the characters, learning the story piece by piece, and having everything fall into place. the real fans who love it for what it is, a game, know that it isn't a 10/10. although, the best part of the experience is having to go through it multiple times, and going through things you've missed and things you've never came up before. why everything happens, and what exactly is the story about. its your choice to find the true ending and the anti-ending, but in my opinion, I'd say to finish the game before giving a solid opinion. because you missed a lot, if you haven't been spoiled yet. I'm just a little disappointed, I guess. Everyone I know's (and a lot of folks on FJ) gone on about how emotional and how great it is. All these posts about these characters that I'd grow fond of or something. But the game was just so.. short. And even kind of boring. It didn't feel like this great journey it even called itself. Well obviously Asami was just the psychologically stronger person. She didn't want help with her emotions because she didn't need help with them.
Korra was raised with the idea that she was supposed to be the guardian/savior/balancer/whatever of the world. Someone important and powerful, a role model for everyone to look up to. That she was invincible.
Then she gets totally ****** and realizes she's ******* nothing and her job can easily be done by others.
That kind of **** will easily put a huge ******* hole in your mental and emotional well-being. She had a god damn existential crisis along with ******* PTSD.
I kind of agree that Asami didn't get enough focus, but people rag on Korra for too much and just wave away all her very real (in the fictional universe) issues because she's supposed to be the avatar. That in itself was one of the problems she had to constantly deal with.
I'd also just like to add that Korra wasn't crippled because of a broken back, it was mercury poisoning which can actually cause paralysis.

Also the "one wish" thing just kind of makes it sound like a Zelda story.. With Unalaq being Ganondorf..

You'd probably prefer the polygonal lasso tool, which uses straight lines.
Just go around the whole thing with it, then switch to the cursor tool that can click and move things, then Ctrl+c, then Ctrl+v on a new page that should be the appropriate size.
Make sure the background is empty, which is usually checkered to show that it is. Then save it as a .png and you can open it to drop on whatever you want.

While I made it easier on myself by pretty much halving the frame rate, it still takes a while and a fair amount of patience.
