well im not saying create their own shouts but rather augement their technology with teh power of the shouts. like a dwemer sphere that can summon a dragon (call dragon shout) or a dwemer hammer that can clear the skys of storms (clear sky shout) or a shield that when its hit the attacker is thrown back (unrelenting force). or maybe they would try to create their own shouts idk.

Well the snow elves have that shield, aurels shield that works like fus doh rah using stored energy and the dwemer have that helmet that works like a steam centurion so the could have done stuff like that...why they didnt I dont know. Since from what I've heard they wont be doing anymore dlc any modders reading this should get on it, or maybe they will make stuff like that in a future title, who knows.

meh idk why they would research the words... maybe to try and augment their technology/weapons with words of power like a sword that when you hit someone it uses the fus ro dah shout? i mean thats the only thing i could think of on the spot...

Shield bash with all three unrelenting force shouts would be unstoppable.

It would make sense if somewhere it was revealed even if like an easter egg or something obscure that the dwemer researched dragonborn(s) and words of power since they were damn smart and always searching for moar power, but seeing as only once in the history of the series mortals created their own shout, it would be quite a feat, but if anyone would have been capable, it would have been them.

Unless they thought of a good reason why dwemer would be researching and creating their own words of power lorists would rage...though if you are a good pc modder anything is possible!
