I apologize for not knowing the history of the design of a city I have never been to, but still prefer a design of a city I have been to a few times, which is widely renown for having good city planning.

One of my favorite paradoxes.

Can't remember what it was called, but it went like this:

There is a chest. The chest has a sign on it. If there is gold in the chest, the sign is telling the truth. If there is no gold in the chest, the sign is lying. The sign reads:

"There is no gold in the chest."

Is there gold in the chest?

Well the sign says there's no gold, so if there isn't any, its telling the truth, if it does have gold, its lying. You cant make it a paradox simply by saying the sign actually means the opposite of what its saying just because you want it to do so. Its a sign and therefore means whatever is written on it.

Well if it has a sign that says theres no gold, i can only assume that it doesn't have any.

If there is no gold in the chest, the sign is lying.

So there's gold in the chest.

Meaning the sign is telling the truth.

But how do you know the sign is false?

That's the fucking rule.

Gold in the chest, sign is truth. No gold in the chest, sign is false. You can only go on what the sign says.

When you're doing math and the teacher tells you to add 2+2 you don't fucking say

"Yeah, but I don't wanna. I wanna add 2+1 because that's how I wanna do it."
