Ya there are classes for concealed carry but I think they should be more extensive. Gun ownership takes a background check that will soon become more stringent in nature. If America could evolve its gun culture to one more like Switzerland the nation would be a safer place to live.

No because if there were no guns then people would find another way to kill each other, guns are just easy. Guns aren't the problem, people are.

I suppose so but with a gun its over so quickly and its pretty much a guarantee if you shoot someone they're going to die unless you're not a good shot but people may be less inclined to kill someone if it takes longer in public like beating someone to death with a bat. it'd be hard to kill more than a couple of people with a bat whereas i'm reading about mass shootings every other month here in Britain and i couldn't tell you the last time we had a mass shooting.
Dont get me wrong I don't think taking guns away now would help in anyway it's too late if you tighten the gun laws its only going to make things worse as people will seek ways to get guns and exploit it.

Ya down in the ghetto in Houston. There are shootings everyday but this one happened to be on a community college campus so it got publicity.
