Israel are in this precarious position, they want to expand their land grabs whilst not pissing off the entire world with thier zionist nationalistic terrorism. failing at both atm

The only thing Israel did that violated the ceasefire was place armed guards on the borders (they weren't supposed to, in the "spirit of peace") but that paid off when Hamas came marching in and in the end abducted one of their soldiers who is now probably being tortured like an animal. Also, Israel isn't shitposting all over the internet 'Stop these evil villains from attacking us, world, they're so evil and we're so perfect!" shit pisses me off that all Gazans think they're being directly attacked.
#51 - deckbox (08/03/2014) [-]
soldier was killed, they didn't abduct shit.

or the teenagers either. Just being fed information to make it so they have excuses for genocide.

Not to be edgy, but I'm glad he's dead. It's better than being captured nowadays. There is literally science behind torture now. It's a living hell that I wouldn't wish upon many people. Last I'd heard, he was believed to be captured. Thanks for the update.
#57 - deckbox (08/03/2014) [-]
what good would it do hamas to torture him, its not like they can glean information. OH these guys are going to attack you at such and such at this time : great what the fuck are they expected to do about it ? they have no military capability to hold them back, Israel can go in and exterminate Gaza at any time. they just need to line up their ducks in a row so in turn Israel won't get flattened either.
User avatar
#59 - truesmokewolf (08/03/2014) [-]
Exactly. Israel is holding back and willing to talk peace. But Hamas is not. Also, torturing a man is good for more than just finding out when and how they'll attack. You can probably find weak points, figure out which tunnels they've found and which they haven't... or just to be a cruel asshole. My biggest reason for siding with Israel is that Israel is trying to reach a peaceful agreement. Hamas refuses to stop until every Israeli is dead. There's a quote but I don't feel up to looking for it.
#62 - deckbox (08/03/2014) [-]
there is absolutely nothing peaceful about what the IDF is doing.
User avatar
#64 - truesmokewolf (08/03/2014) [-]
I never said there was anything peaceful about them. They're at war. But they're WILLING to be peaceful, if given the chance.
#61 - deckbox (08/03/2014) [-]
There is no peace with ISrael, they want a totalitarian Jewish State, they want to become a jewish nuclear superpower. And with Gaza out of the way, they are straight on egypts doorstep, as well as Jordan, they will then try to annexe there. They want USA to go to war with IRan so they will no longer be a threat to Benjiboy, that is why they pushed them to go into war with Iraq, due to how saddam was a threat to them. Now look at that place, 2.7 million dead, it is in even worse condition than even gaza is, and now there are fashist regimes fighting there, causing even more death and devastation. ISrael is orchestrating a zionist ideal in which they are trying to bring about the end times to make Jesus appear before them.

I don't know about that biblical bit, I'm not well-versed. But what I do know is if what you're saying is true, why do they not just roll through Gaza?

You have a good point, they might fear Iran, but they have no reason to. Their Air Force is far superior to any other country/region's in the area.
#67 - deckbox (08/03/2014) [-]
yea, but EVERYONES at the same time ?

User avatar
#69 - truesmokewolf (08/03/2014) [-]
Possibly. It's not the most advanced region in the area. They may be out-sized, sure, but numbers hardly matter when you're in an older, less-advanced aircraft against a fleet of F-18 Super Hornets.
User avatar
#73 - truesmokewolf (08/03/2014) [-]
Why are you including the US and UK? If the US goes to war, the air is our domain. That is undeniable. In those circumstances, yeah. Israel is up shit creek.

The others combined I agree are if-y and you're right, no sane commander would wage war against all of them at the same time.
#74 - deckbox (08/03/2014) [-]
hence the ducks in a row comment, They are using PR and political means to edge themselves into a situation where all of that becomes a non factor, that all the Economical deals, the geographical divisions lined up, Fuels etc.

There are not just that, you got intellectuals gathering up those finances too, And religious nutjobs driving the cause through the western churches and media, No the Jews are not IN CONTROL of media, but the rhetoric being echoed by things like GOD TV calling for the end times, Anti muslim chants and war on iran, and other news channels using their greivances with Obama as an pro-israel arguement, the mistake can be easily made.
User avatar
#75 - truesmokewolf (08/03/2014) [-]
I see your point. If you're right about just how crazy they are, it's a good thing the US is practically shutting itself down. We won't go to war with Iran. No leader in this country could get away with that except Obama (because god praise-be he's infallible and everything bad that happens is still Bush's fault because hurr durr he's black you have to like him or you're racist) and Obama supports Palestine. We've been trying to get all our funds back in our own country to deal with this growing debt and unemployment and just shitty leadership all around.
#78 - deckbox (08/03/2014) [-]
but but Truesmokewolf didn't you know

OBama is a Muslim and he hates america !

Yea no Amerifags are as much as stupid racist rednecks as they have always been, except they got social media to spread the message even further.

It even goes before Bush though, remember Vietnam ? we have had 60 years of american wars, countless millions of non-white deaths throughout decades of warfare, and even going before WW 1 you had the extermination of native americans, the austrailian tribesmen, the some 180 million africans taken for slavery and over 70 % killed, then you got the systematic denial of global warming and climate change leading to energy companies etc destroying more wildlife, I mean for all the shit that is currently going on, even all of the history of killing and wars, The fact we have now got 2 even greater threats right slap bang on our doorstep : A highly infectious disease with no cure and a 90 % mortality rate, and some 45 % decline in pretty much every non domesticated animal species worldwide just All of these calls for the END TIMES May just well come true. So at the end of the day, us taking eachothers land and killing off cultures won't mean a single thing since within as little as half a century we could all be in some serious deep shit.
User avatar
#80 - truesmokewolf (08/03/2014) [-]
Oh yeah, I know. Bush wasn't great. IMO, we haven't had a decent president since Reagan, and he was the first in a good long while. Honestly after WWII, our Federal Government got out of hand and hasn't been in check since.

And actually, the number of stereotypical white racists is absolutely miniscule and they're shunned by every part of society. The new thing in this country is hating white people for their "crimes". Apparently I owe every African American the money I earn with my blood, sweat and tears because their grandfather's grandfather's grandfather was a slave, and his owners happened to have the same skin color as me.
#82 - deckbox (08/03/2014) [-]
most are decent, but I still see the same sort of messages on every story on obama calling him muslim etc.
User avatar
#84 - truesmokewolf (08/03/2014) [-]
Yeah, they still happen. And honestly, I couldn't care less if he was muslim, Christian, atheist, whatever. Religion does not decide who a person is. Nor does skin color. It's all in their actions.

REligion doesn't exactly exist anymore it is all politics now. Politics is the new religion, you follow X government, all these calls of JEsus, Allah ? Buzzwords. Al Queda, MUSLIM Fundamentalistts, all used for political support by western powers or whathaveyou.
User avatar
#92 - truesmokewolf (08/03/2014) [-]
And, I meant to proof that bit about religion still being a factor. As ISIS came through Iraq, reclaiming territories, they forced each and every Christian to effectively convert or die.
#102 - deckbox (08/03/2014) [-]
yea it is a little of both, I mean politics do it too, Convert to Republican or we cut your funding, or join our board of directors or we will fire you etc

that is pretty much was israel is doing, and other middle eastern conflicts, russia etc all this political migration using religion as a shroud.
User avatar
#103 - truesmokewolf (08/03/2014) [-]
Actually, it's the other way around. NPO's identifying as Republican have been targeted, ridiculed and discriminated against by the IRS and were heavily taxed without reason.
#105 - deckbox (08/03/2014) [-]
and now they want to dismantle the IRS because of it, well FOX NEWS do.

At any rate, I don't think Hannity's a nutjob. He's wrong about a couple things, but who isn't? If there was a clear-cut right and wrong, who would ever willingly decide to be wrong?

Fox News gets a bad rap for the crazies it hosts. Bill O'Reilly is a bit out there. He's blamed the existence of technology for the problems in our country before. Batshit crazy. But they have their share of intellectuals. Sean Hannity is one I tune in to from time to time. He seems to have a good head on his shoulders. But erasing the IRS entirely, terrible idea. We need Federal taxes if we're ever going to get out of debt. Seriously, why cut the one bringing in money but not the ones squandering it? The EPA, the regulatory agencies... seriously, if a product or service is bad, the people will stop buying it. Business works that crap out on its own. The Government doesn't need an oversight committee for people letting their fucking cows graze a field.
#110 - deckbox (08/03/2014) [-]
Hannity is a nutjob :p

Israel-Palestine: Is This A Debate? Russell Brand The Trews (E111)

Fox announced in court though that they are listed as Satire, so shouldn't ever be considered serious, but yea IRS is kinda needed for a lot. Gaza version of IRS doesn't exist it got flattened by israel, they cant even manage taxes anymore.

I see the trend, but I disagree. The simple fact that many of these crimes are done in the name of religion mean that it's less one absorbing the other but politics and religion fusing. What I see all over the world is an attack on Christians. Even here in America, orthodox Christians are attacked verbally for their views. I almost sympathize with them, but their religion is full of hatred and bloodlust yet they claim to worship a God who "loves all his children". The religion is hokey, but I'll never insult a man for having religious convictions. Opinions are opinions.
#104 - deckbox (08/03/2014) [-]
Yea, but christians are the same too, Watch the God channel sometime with Wendy Alec, she is basically calling for the deaths of muslims and the end times, armageddon, war death is all they scream, there is nothing peaceful about it.

Religious views are one thing but you get this unsettling feeling that if it wasn't some wigged out weirdo and someone with real political power or a dictator like Saddam or benji you get the same effect, killing of kurds etc.
User avatar
#106 - truesmokewolf (08/03/2014) [-]
You're exactly right. I think the existence of Religion itself has outlived its original purpose. The belief that there is an afterlife, possibly. But an all-loving protector of any kind is out of the question just based on the shit that happens to good people.
#107 - deckbox (08/03/2014) [-]
Yea Religion was used for things like the Crusades, 1000 years ago.

We are basically doing the same things now except using politics instead was kinda what i was trying to say.

Nothing is funnier than the loons who refuse to understand Evolution. They claim "Oh, it's just a THEORY. They can't prove it." You know what else is just a theory? Fucking gravity. Go jump off a cliff and see how that theory argument works for you.

The funniest part of it all is that Evolution doesn't even conflict with their religion. They just get that mentality that it's not what they pictured in their heads as small children so they deny it avidly.
User avatar
#109 - truesmokewolf (08/03/2014) [-]
Mmm Religion had out-lived its purpose even then. It was being abused for the crusades. The original purpose for religion is to keep the people in line. Oh, you don't want to follow my laws because we can't punish you? You'll suffer for eternity after death if you break these rules [insert ten commandments here] but if you respect your leaders and worship this god you get to be rewarded after you die!" It's simple reinforcement psychology to train behavior in animals.
