Just watched the first episode of Comet Lucifer, looked interesting so far.
Heavy Objects first episode didn't look too promising, but I guess I'll give it at least another episode.

Honestly, there really isn't much that good this season. Not even something that sounds remotely interesting, so the best way is to just rush through every first episode of stuff that doesn't sound absolutely terrible at first.

I don't even remember what it was actually about, but the first episode looked interesting enough for me to want to know more, and that's a good thing.

my problem was that they didn't have a background or anything to off of, and the characters were introduced so abruptly that it took me a while to go "Oh, they know each other already...ok."
and then all of a sudden there's mechs everywhere
and then a mech appears out of thin air and kills the other mech
and then the episode is over with no explanation
but it didn't feel like a cliff-hanger leading into the next episode, it just felt like a big "FUCK YOU IF YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND"

I'm guessing there'll be more explained along the way.

Heavy Object is god tier. Best author, best studio. Perfect Insider is angsty as fuck, the characters seem likeable but throughout the first episode all they did was talking about edgy shit like the stupidity of man and existential questions.

Sakurako-san, as kninee said, is awesome. Basically an anime version of BONES, with a somewhat less logical chick and less masculine dude.

BONES is more than just an autistic chick and an FBI agent. It's also forensic anthropology and awkward romance.

There's a bunch of those forensic shows on tv, the only reason BONES is still going is because Bones autistic behavior and Boreanaz being there acting as sort of the straight man.

The supporting cast is also pretty good always liked the psychiatrist guy . But I agree it isn't as much like Bones as everyone says.

I found him to be extremely annoying but I haven't seen it a while, they replaced the english version with the spanish dub version and it sounds like total shit so I stopped watching it.
