So you're saying that America pretty much runs the world based off our economy?
Dude I'm going to say BULL SHIT! Greece over spent their money and then borrowed more money when they didn't have a way of paying it back. So did Italy and other countries. Since they switched to the Euro that means that the Euro was also affected because they inflated it. The same thing happened in Eastern Europe is doing the same exact thing.
America isn't responsible for Greece generating it's own inflation and because they now share the same currency as the rest of the EU that came into conflict. Even worse they LIED about why they needed to further borrow money, thus increasing inflation. That was Greece's own fault (as well as the Eastern Europeans.) The Germans and many of the other central European powers have strong economies that they're able to keep the Euro a float (barely).
The international stock options only affected those countries that were apart of it. The UK being one of them, yet they refused to accept the Euro because they knew that countries like Greece and the others were already in insane amount of debt prior to the EU even being formed. That's right one of the main concerns prior to the EU even being formed were the same problems that we see today, only now they've escalated to a whole new level, especially since these countries continue to borrow money from the Global Bank

Okay so someone obviously pinkieed me down because they disagree and just don't want to debate the point. YES people these problems existed BEFORE the formation of the EU, and they only got worse as time went on. This is why many countries didn't want to join the EU and why the UK was more inclined to NOT accept the Euro. They knew that their economies would be directly affected by the economies of the other countries, like Greece and the Eastern Europeans who were already in debt.
dabawse if it was you that pinkieed me down, I hate to say it but I only think it was because you don't like being proven wrong. This same thing is for why other countries want to leave the EU as well (like Norway).
Seriously stop trying to blame America for your countries problems. Realize that your government not only are, but have always been fucking up!

Look, I didn't pinkie you down, because you have a valid point.
Greece is as much to blame for its own problems because of their corruption within their government. But what pushed Greece further down that hole was the world financial crisis.
The financial crisis sped up the process. The banking panics, recessions and stock market crashes, it all resulted in a loss of paper wealth. The Euro was weakened and Greece's chances of repaying its depth dropped even more.
And I'm sorry, but the U.S. is very much to blame for that crisis.
Although you are right that Greece was digging its own grave, not all of our governments were as messed up like that before the crisis.

While you are right about people spending money/credit charing what they cannot afford. But the literally i can think of two dozens things one why US economy crashed it is really not just one answer or one particular group at fault.
Yes, people where racking up huge debt/loans and then faulting due to inability to pay.
One of many examples is banks and loaning companies are now being caught and scruntinize for pulling the old bait and switch when it came to loan %
For example let just say you make a house payment of $800 per month for about a year then suddenly BAM! you monthly house payment skyrockets $1600 a month due loan % double even sometimes TRIPLING. All just because people were unable to read the fine print in their contract.
A vast majority of people are unable to read and fully understand the contracts given like TERMS OF AGREEMENT of everything you download off the internet
sorry for the long response i just did want to seem one sided person hope this helps some.

Your right but our loan problems don't even make up 2 % of our national debt. We own many nations around the world money because they invested in us and we haven't paid them back. And i'll add this too our national debt is around 15 trillion $ our gdp in one year is around 15 trillion $.
