Welcome to Norway
Yeah it's made out to be far bigger of a problem than it really is. The situation in Sweden on the other hand, is quite dire, it seems. I've only been to sweden once this year, but I saw several busses packed with immigrants arriving at the shopping centre I was at.
Gotta say it becomes a issue over time.
You norweigian folks got it figured out.
As far as i know you deport someone who takes more than 15 months to learn Norweigian, dont you?
huge rumor thing here at any rate
We send a bunch of people into a town and give them money saying "do whatever, also we wont arrest you for most stuffs" and then wait a few months to see what happends.
I have no idea if that rumor is true or false, but I highly doubt it being true.

But they have no reason to feel ill will against Bethesda for it. Again. This contract was signed before the game was even in production. They knew what they were getting into contractually and I see no reason why they'd hate Beth because the product they made fell short.
They weren't cheated. They weren't backstabbed. They agreed to a contract and failed to meet the requirements for their bonus.
I'm not too familiar with the situation, but i heard obsidian thought that the game was not ready both generally and in terms of all the bugs yet Zenimax pushed the game out still. I can't remember where but people were saying that zenimax did this intentionally in order to potentially avoid paying the bonus since the score would possibly be lowered due to all the bugs (which it did). I also remember someone saying that zenimax has done this before in order to avoid payment/ causing a firm to go bankrupt so that they can purchase them at a later date. Still, even if this is completely true, like you said obsidian knew what they were getting into with the whole shebang.
Obsidian was given an 18 month time frame to complete the game when they signed the contract. If they felt it was not ready by the time that frame had expired, the onus is on them for over-reaching and not for Zeni or Beth publishing when they said they would.
There's a lot of conjecture and bullshit about the whole event made up by people on the internet who just can't stand that their favourite developer might have just not performed to scratch.
While I agree on your legal point, I also agre with roxasbaby that it all comes down to the relationship between the two companies. Pushing an unfinished game is never good, as evidenced by Ubisoft and EA.
Obsidian has no reason to bear ill will, but still it hurts to see the baby you`ve put your heart and soul into get bashed around because it`s pushed out prematurely. It`s one of those moments when you can`t help but feel despite the logic and your professionalism gets tested.
also how do I mention people
, just saying the persons name mentions them, as i was just now. If you want to refer to a comment in yours, like i did to yours, just click on the one you want to while typing.
AFAIK, Obsidian and Beth have both released statements saying that they maintain a good relationship with each other, though I cannot source this for you right now.
Like I said. A lot of bullshit and conjecture is made up by fans.
Also, I have no idea.
