cdroid (11 hours ago) [-] I lost a couple friends doing these things so I'm quite aware that this is not the way to make friends, that's why I troll random strangers through the internet more often then not. However, I lost more friends by simply being good, not playing dirty. Virtually any game I could beat my friends after less than 10 minutes of learning the game-play and mechanics. I had a lock-in with a bunch of guys who practiced Halo 2 basically 24-7, and after playing with them for 2 hours I was one of the best players there. A friend had a favorite racing game; I beat him every time after race 3. Both of these cases I was brand new to the game, and I could do this to all of my friends with any game and they *hated* that about me. | ||

cdroid (01/11/2016) [-] What's worse, doing it, or liking it immensely? Just make sure you never play Garry's Mod with me because I found a lot of ways to mess up someone's day without getting caught. My newest hobby in video games is random killing in TTT without having logs leading back to me. My personal favorite is pushing people off ledges with props... most servers surprisingly haven't wised up to that scheme yet. Second favorite was breaking bridges on Rooftops and the like. These all let me kill indiscriminately without getting caught unless someone sees me. For G-Mod TTT a lot of people play on the minecraft map and I've found about 20 ways of killing someone without logs proving it. He'res my favorites. One; you can put the minecarts into the portal and push people into the lava. Two; people tend to prop-surf a lot using the minecarts, so I would hit the minecarts with a crowbar 8 times (I think) because the 9th hit breaks it. I'd wait until someone tries to prop surf and then destroy the cart with a pistol. Three; If you're playing on a server with tasers, then when you get detective you can buy the taser and it rag-dolls a random person. You then put them in the portal, and because they're rag-dolled the portal usually kills them if not drops them right out of the map. I also love playing co-op games where you can't hurt your team-mate and then finding ways to kill them anyway. In Resistance, I was playing co-op with a friend and found a way to kill them with a rocket-launcher (nothing else does damage in that game to your team-mate). Also, a lot of games let you team-kill using vehicles. Most obvious would be jumping out at the last second and letting the vehicle kill them with no one driving, or to drive a vehicle full of team-mates off a cliff and bail at the last possible second. Remember, the important part is that it doesn't get logged as a team-kill. In BattleField Bad Company (either one), I found out you could stick C4 on the front of a vehicle and it would stay. I could put all my C4 on the front of a fast vehicle, drive it right up to the Gold Crate in Gold Rush mode, and explode the C4. If I remember correctly then this destroyed the crate in one or two goes... and it's virtually unstoppable. There were better things to do with C4 like driving an ATV into the building where a sniper is camping before blowing the C4. Oh yeah, and I started referring to 'Gun Game' in Call of Duty as 'knife game' because I got all the relevant medals to that play mode and got bored, so I started playing where I would do nothing but humiliate people. I got over 80 knife kills in one round and about 20 messages on my PSN account cursing me out. By the end of that round everyone was basically screaming unintelligibly into their mics. Are you doing this because you like it? That isn't the way to make friends. #165 -

cdroid (01/10/2016) [-] You have... No idea. When Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 came out, I played with my friend who got it for his birthday and I beat him by head-smacking him when he was in the middle of his largest combos. He rage-quit because I head-smacked him in the middle of a combo, went and did a hand-stand on a ramp and head-smacked him again on my way down, did a grind into a manual combo and head-smacked him again after that. Another friend never played video games with me again because I hid on the side of rainbow road until he passed, and then hit him with 3 red shells in a row before passing him and immediately winning. In Star Wars Battlefront 2 I would unlock the demolition award, and then spend the rest of the game standing by an ammo droid blasting my friend from a distance. My friend used to be pretty brutal to me at Metroid Prime: Hunters, so I practiced until I was good enough to hide at a spot in some of the maps where I could see all the spawn points, and just head-shot him virtually the instant he re-spawned every time. On Call of Duty, I loved playing on hardcore and getting my team-mates kicked from the game by standing on their explosives or standing under their care-packages to get myself killed by them. And yes, I found all of the most humiliating ways to kill people in Super Smash Bros. I wouldn't spam them because I wanted it to be fair and square when I win using one because that makes it extra humiliating. Grappling people off the edge (and usually suicide at the same time) was my favorite. Another favorite was using Dr. Mario's cape on people when they're jumping back onto the platform and then there's nothing they can really do. #163 -
