 Fair assessment I guess. I'm a massive F1 fanboy and I get what you're saying, compared to F3, F1 graphics will look like shit and the gameplay is much slower and not as intense. But there's still a lot of enjoyment to be found if you know what you're doing. If you're having trouble hitting things, make sure your Perception is not shit and you've maxed out the appropriate skill. I.e. picking Small guns in the early game will go a long way. What did you genuinely like about F1 and 2? You said the graphics were bad, but there's something I like about those kind of graphics. In Roller Coaster Tycoon, old Fallout, and Sim City 4 the graphics are pretty outdated but they're appealing to me. I like most of the game, but it's mainly how you control it that irritates me. I like all the looting, armor, weapons, quests, etc, but I don't like the inventory system or the map or the quest system. It's really just an evened out game, with something good they'e something bad with it. I didn't mean the graphics were bad, I actually love old isometric visuals too (Diablo 1&2, Baldur's Gate, Age of Empires, Starcraft, heck pretty much any top-down game from the late 90s to early 2000s), I meant for somebody who started with F3 it's gonna seem like a downgrade (obviously) I know that cos even when I had first played Fallout back in 2002 I thought it looked terrible Fallout 3 looked pretty bad too, even when I had played on PS2 up until then. | ||

 The second movie definitely had me yawning. It was only when the hunger game actually started, and when Katnip shot an arrow to the dome when I finally found it interesting, but by then, the movie was already done. | ||

 The holding down does it for me, they cant attack, they stand completely still, its soooo good. If he holds down an enemy theyre basically dead, or its TONS of free damage. For me he only holds them down after I've lined up a shot or he lets them go right as I line up a shot. I guess it probably wouldn't be as big of a deal at my now higher level because I have tons of ammo and nearly one shot everything but at the early parts of the game, ammo was scarce and my damage was low so he really fucked me up. | ||

andywazowski (12/06/2015) [-]  I've had less encounters with human companions blocking the way than with dogmeat. Probably because dogmeat's longer so he has a great path blocking possibility.  but the way the made dogmeat is to stand in front of you, and run out before you as kind of a scout. he gets in doorways a little bit more often than other NPCs ive noticed, but thats nothing the butt of a rifle cant fix. Because, he finds loot, holds down enemies, works with Lone Wanderer, and you never have to care about his affinity or what actions you do because hell love you no matter what. Usually the loot he found was just something I could find on my own and him grabbing enemies just messed up my aim. The lone wanderer thing is cool though. The holding down does it for me, they cant attack, they stand completely still, its soooo good. If he holds down an enemy theyre basically dead, or its TONS of free damage. For me he only holds them down after I've lined up a shot or he lets them go right as I line up a shot. If I had known the evil path blocking abilities within him, I too would have finished him then and there.  apparently he works with the lone wanderer perk, so that's one thing probably the only reason to take him, other than the dank doggy costumes  Another thing I wonder about is... the light/normal/heavy dog armour. Does it actually give dogmeat defense or not? | ||

The alien blaster uses ammo specific to only the alien blaster, but can be model to use fusion cells.
