I struggled with the Blood-starved Beast aswell... what I started doing was use the axe in 2h mode, then play as defensively as possible.

I would dodge and then instantly counter attack, the axe has a pretty long range stab attack if you dodge/run. Just kept doing that over and over a few times untill it had like 500 health left and then I bombarded it with molotovs.

But you say you've encountered the 4th boss? How? Where? I accidentally skipped the first boss and went straight to Gascoigne and Blood-starved Beast, before I realized there was a boss at the end of the bridge fuck those two werewolves from scaring me away

Here's another tip, your insight, the more you have, the harder the game is, spend some and always have less than 10 insight.
Unless of course you want to invade or co-op.

Don't use slow weapons with the Blood-starved boss, have plenty of antidotes and strike as fast as you can (I used the saw cleaver and beat it the 1st try), halfway through the battle gets harder so try to use molotov-cocktails.

I beat the blood-starved beast by dodging/attacking until it was in the third stage. Then I spammed molotovs. Now that I'm on the fourth I can't beat it because when it gets down to around half health it starts to heal to slightly above half health. I attack it while it's healing but it doesn't do anything significant and she has still regained a bit of health. The cycle of me getting her to half health, and her healing to above half health just keeps going but I'm slowly running out of blood vials. I do have around 10 insight though so maybe I should summon someone. Is it possible to summon Alfred for that fight or would I need to summon an actual player?

I finally took the fucker down yesterday. The stab attack with the axe works absolutely magnificent against it.

I was also lucky to get it wedged around the altar at the end of the room a few times, which gave me time for a full-power charge attack 2 or 3 times. Then I molotoved it's ass.

Amelia, that' the forth, and it's easy actually, she's not too fast and the has lie 1 heavy attack, get behind her and hit her legs as much as you can, dodge here and dash there and it's over in 4 minutes.

Not to worry, but the blood-starved beast IS a had beast to kill, get plenty of molotov cocktails and antidotes, you'll need them, and another thing.

If you stumble under a Gatling gun fire later on, put on the Black Church attire. that's actually a hunter and what you want to do is get where he is (on that tower) while wearing the attire I just mentioned, it'll trigger a quest.

Good hunt.

I got to the third boss and got it down to a third of it's health. It then leaped at me and I died instantly. As for the hunter shooting at me with a machine gun I climbed up to him and killed him. By "killed" I mean I attacked him, he attacked me, I dodged, and he fell off the tower to his death I can probably take down the third boss if I get a couple more of the blood things that you throw. Some fire paper would be nice, but I only have one.

That my friend, is the Burial Blade. The Skill version of Ludwig's. You obtain it after defeating the final boss Gherman, the First Hunter . Been using it for a while now and it's mad fucking OP. Just a fair bit of warning though, there are 3 endings, you can screw yourself out of not getting the true ending halfway through the game, and the final boss is HARD.
