I'd say the grandma went to get the son and got stuck. Which is understandable, she probably isn't in the best condition of her life :P

It just felt really off. Maybe it's just because I'd been watching some truly stellar series at the time but it all seemed rather thrown together, and there was a period where there was a new girl every episode, when in reality those characters were introduced in the novels reasonably far apart. Also, Sachi's death meant NOTHING when she was introduced and then killed off that quickly.
#193 - crickity (04/10/2013) [-]
It was sad for me, but then I hadn't read the manga, so I haven't witnessed the drawn out version. Is it super painful to read?

I think most of it is honestly just a force of habit. People think "what computer will I get to (insert creative profession's task here)? Macs are used a lot, might as well." Especially if you're a graphic artist or whatever and don't know the first about computers.
#158 - hylebus (04/08/2013) [-]
Final Cut Pro is industry standard in movie production and is Mac OS X exclusively.
#357 - crickity (04/10/2013) [-]

As a composer, I can tell you that a lot of music programs simply work smoother on Macs. I can't tell my own arse from superman's hairstyle when it comes to computers, so I don't know why that is. Maybe they're just optimized for the Apple OS. But I get far better MIDI sound, some decent formatting options, and some nuances which I cannot get on Windows.

Or maybe I'm just using it wrong. As I said, I don't know the first thing about computers.

depend on what you use it to, I prefer linux because it is faster, less walk arounds like in windows to do simple tasks, more control ect

but if you only use ot for entertainment or just to run applications and not to much need of the OS, windows and mac is better choice

I wish I could do that. It sounds like a good idea. But believe me when I say that I try that too. I try to be confident, I try being who I am without being too much of a hassle. But I suck at it. I just can't. Being who I am doesn't work, being comfortable doesn't work, trying doesn't work. I think I'm just the exception. The literal fifth wheel.

Alright, well, generic saturday morning cartoon advice;
Stop trying for a bit. If you clean yourself up and start trying to be the person that you want to be, people will gravitate towards you. Be polite, ask about their day, go from there. Practically nobody is comfortable in their own skin; if you manage to be, you're hot stuff and they'll come to you.
