Even having played the game, it's just a mediocre indie game, there is nothing special about it.
It's the most spammed shit on here and now we don't have to see it anymore.
So win/win right?

It's a meh indie game with a lazy dev who uses the excuse of 'retro' so he doesn't actually have to create any decent sprites for it.

Im not sure what website you're talking about, because im talking about Funnyjunk, i haven't seen a front page Undertale post in a while, and even then it would just be 1 or 2, i was spammed a while ago when it was just new but its really died down now, on top of that the game wasn't really mediocre, it was just extremely story driven, the ruins/tutorial area were kind of meh but the rest of the game was fantastic, amazing soundtrack, great story, loveable characters, and some not bad gameplay.

Well we can just agree to disagree. Like I said before I went from CoD to CS to BF3, and I only ended up playing CS for about a year because it felt so similar to CoD anyways it was like I was playing the same game but without ADS and with more Russians and quickscoping.
I guess it's not technically the same shit as CoD quickscoping but the effect is the same: People watching the same hallways every time with a 1 shot kill sniper. Shit gets old pretty quick with games where the entire round is pretty much decided in the first 30sec of a round starting.

Yea dude, a team you speak and co-ordinate with with always be better than solo whether you're playing CoD or CS.

High level CoD players use strategies and flashes, frags etc same as high level CS players. I'm definitely not a CoD fan but pretty much everything you said about CS could be said about CoD as well.

> You don't have to work with your team to win but it helps - Both
>It does have a bit more variety in game modes I will admit that
>Someone peaks? The answer works for both games. Holding fire isn't always the best option in CoD, same as CS.

Casual playing of both are pretty much the exact same. Everyone does whatever they want because "who cares it's just a game and I feel like shooting someone."

Yeah i see some of your points, but im not talking about high tier pros, i mainly tried to exclude using pro examples and when i did i compared it to cod pros too, anyways,
> Yea dude, a team you speak and co-ordinate with with always be better than solo whether you're playing CoD or CS.
Thats not what im saying though, in CS you NEED to work with your team or else you'll get fucked, if you have a team that wont listen you'll just get mad at eachother, no one's gonna get anything done, and you'll lose to a team that knows how to work with eachothers, if you have a toxic team that doesn't wanna work togeather at all in CoD it doesnt really matter, everyone is just running and gunning anyways,
>Someone peaks? The answer works for both games. Holding fire isn't always the best option in CoD, same as CS.
I didnt say it was the best option, but its alot more simple than in CS, peaking in CS has to do with alot more variables than in CoD, a peak in CoD is someone just turning and a corner and shooting, a peak in CS needs to be fully setup, a support player needs to flash in they entry fragger, you need to rely on the entry fragger to get the kill, if he dies then you have to rethink you're entire map strategy since you're down a man, and taking anything will be alot harder.
>3v2 you should probably plan with your other teammate to have a better chance beating unfavourable odds - Both
Not sure why you're putting words in my mouth, i never said that, i said that in a 3v2, a CoD team might as well just go for it because why not, nothing to lose really. in CSGO you need to think about what the risk for reward is, if you wanna play it safe and save your equipment for another round, if the odds are worth taking at a chance for a retake, say you're T side, you can save your guns, or go for a risky bomb plant to get an extra 800 dollars to your teammates, but it will require taking a site, and potentially dieing.
> Casual playing of both are pretty much the exact same. Everyone does whatever they want because "who cares it's just a game and I feel like shooting someone."
Theres DM in CS thats basically the same as CoD, but alot of people just do that to dick around or warm up, most people play competetive, its pretty easy to get a game, just put in your maps, queue up with friends or dont, then just wait for a match, usually only takes like 1 minute. In competetive people work togeather, in CS theres ranks, not like in CoD, its alot harder to earn ranks, you can also lose them if you dont do well, so people are alot more serious and aren't messing around as much.

They're both arcade shooters that benefit mainly from map memory and twitch reflexes instead of strategy and team planning.

In CoD its essentialy a free for all, theres team death match but thats still just people running around, in CoD you dont need to work with your team to win, in csgo you need to have a reliable team to help you with things like entry fragging, strat making and more. Also, CoD doesnt have nearly as many custom game modes as CSGO, they have different kinds like TDM, lone wolf, and other things, but those are all basically the same thing with a small twist, CSGO can be made into almost a completely different concept than what it was originally, dont like shooting guns? how about surf or bhop, those are completely different but still take alot of skill to learn/master. Also in CoD there's no real debate on what you wanna do, everything is clear, someone peaks you? hold trigger till hes dead, CSGO someone peaks you, you either 1 tap, spray, burst, or anything. Another example. its a 3v2, CoD and CS, CoD, why not go for it, not gonna lose anything anyways, CSGO, we could save these guns for the next round, or we could go for the play, if we save will we have enough to buy next round? Also for strategy, High level CoD play will have it, even then it wont be on the scale of high tier CS, and in casual there isnt much strategy at all, its just run and gun, in an average run of the mill comp game in CS it still takes a good tearm to back you up, people need to help you out, like i said you need flashes, smokes, support, entry fragger dies? awper or support should be there to trade the guy who killed him.

Well if I wanted to play a pattern memorizing game I would play a puzzle game or CoD.

Actually CoD probably has more variety than CS:GO. At least in CoD I don't know where people will be hiding all the time. And that's just sad.
User avatar
#72 - creamgravy (12/21/2015) [-]
CS:GO isn't just about pattern memorization, it takes teamwork and gamesense, no ones gonna rush into site and just clear it out solo, you need support like flashes, smokes etc. etc. There's also 1 tapping an awping, awping takes reactions and muscle memory to make flicks, on top of that theres custom game modes like zombie survival, surf, bhop etc, not only that it takes alot of intuition and management, people need to play their roles and every role is important, an in game leader calls strats for a team to do, as well as managing economy, should i go for this, save, buy, etc. etc, it takes intuition to tell when an enemy will repeak, if he wont, when you should prefire, If CSGO was pattern memorizing and hiding i doubt it would be considered 1 of the best fps/esport's game around.
