it's not the game, it's the community, when Undertale became more and more popular, it was the most common thing to see posted on FJ. Many dislike these posts because they require you to play through the game in order to get the jokes within the posts. So many dismissed them and saw them as spam.

I figured that the negative backlash would cause the Undertale posters to be a bit more conscientious and post their content to be only view-able via their channel only, much like what had to be done with Steven Universe and MLP.
But the community ignored this, and some- not all- claimed that those who disliked undertale were "salty" and/or haters.

To reiterate, it's not the game, it's parts of the community that make the fandom feel toxic/cancerous.

Yeah... Im going have to take some of the blame on that. I'm newish to this site and I have been posting some UT stuff. It wasnt until my last upload that I found out that you can have it only show up in the channel.
Also, I think the fandom has calmed down a bit. Haven't seen any toxic comments lately, so... thats good I guess!

Almost every post i see now is in the undertale channel, and there are channel filters now, also Undertale hasn't been on the front page in a LONG time, if something was popular once, does that mean that the instant anyone post's anything about it people have to rush in and circlejerk about how bad the community is? at this point for every 1 post related to Undertale on non Undertale content there will be at least 3 post's complaining about it. i mean for christ's sake the guy just had a profile pic related to the game and people are annoyed by it.

When i say channel only, i mean the post can only be viewed if you actually click on "undertale" in the channel tab; it cannot be viewed unless you actually access the channel.
Also, i am referring to what happened two or three weeks ago, when undertale was becoming more prevalent.
The events that happened in those times caused people to formulate negative opinions on the community. I am not referring to the here and now, i am referring to what happened prior-- what caused people to feel the way they do about Undertale.

I think that was mostly his mother enrolling him, since she was quite a devote woman. Stalin was an atheist even before joining the Bolsheviks.

From what I've heard the Mongols at the time of Genghis Khan were shamanistic and had reverence for things like spirits, rivers, trees, mountains and so forth. It may have suited them well because they had no care to spread their faith and nor a spiritual reason to offer any mercy to religious converts. On the other hand they had no reason to carry out religious persecution either (but they did so anyway because Genghis Khan referred to Muslims and Jews as slaves apparently and forbid circumcision and the halal method of butchering animals).

And there was the killing of so many people. Most people don't take kindly to having their friends, family, and people slaughtered.

A later Mongol khan converted to a very peaceful religion known as Islam. This made on going bloodshed and war totally peaceful and beloved by all people, thank the prophet, pbuh. Actually, more interestingly this ruler, Mahmud Ghazan wanted to make an a Franco-Mongol alliance. He wanted to cooperate with Crusaders, promising Jerusalem to them, in order vanquish their mutual enemy the Mamluks of Egypt. But of course he had made and broken other promises and the Mamluks proved victorious over him (I imagine they did not like a convert to Islam trying to conquer them).
