Longer relative to others who observe you as moving fast. When time slows down, you do not feel this, it is like putting a movie on at 1/2 speed, it looks slow, but the characters onscreen carry on in perfect fashion never noticing anything has changed. In other words you are moving no faster relative to your immediate environment in spacetime so if spend one month in light speed, (im not going to do actual calculations just make up numbers that express the idea) the rest of Earth during your journey will have progressed thousands of years in time. It was only one month to you because the speed in which you experience time is relative to the difference in speed with the observer of your experience.

The nazi's used a swastika as their symbol, those are both pictures of swastikas. A million different religions used a clockwise facing swastika, a ton of them used counter-clockwise facing swastikas. I don't think the cartoon artist put much attention to detail but everyone still recognized the swastika as representative of Nazi's did they not?

Well the Nazi's chose the swastika as their own symbol to represent them so it is a Nazi symbol and that is probably the most well known use of the swastika worldwide
User avatar #125 - sabdoor (12/07/2012) [-]
How about No? See the Swastika was the invention of Adolf Hitler During his rise in prominence, before the founding of the Nazi party. Hitler was into Buddhist scriptures at the time and came across the reverse symbol (as shown on the socks) which represents "The Caged Bird", a symbol of opression and the desire for freedom. Hitler adopted and inverted the sign as symbol to mean that the oppressed would start fighting back.

A swastika going counter cock wise does not represent Nazis.

It doesn't really matter the direction it faces dude the Hindu swastika faces the same way as the Nazi swastika. Different religions that use the swastika have if facing different ways
User avatar #129 - bun (12/07/2012) [-]
That's not a swastika. Also, if you meant the Buddhist symbol of peace, that symbol is counter clock wise.
User avatar #139 - Campbellssoup (12/07/2012) [-]
This is fully a Swastika, Hinduism used the Swastika before Buddhism existed... Siddhartha Gautama, The First Buddha and founder of Buddhism was Hindu which is why is carried over into Buddhism. Know your shit before you try and argue it

Actually, if you REALLY want to look into the nitty gritty of why gas prices are rising, you will find its due to Wall Street speculators. Oil prices are not following the conventional supply and demand principle: demand is down and supply has actually increased. What we've got going on is that speculators are jacking up the prices in an effort to make a profit.

Here's a great article by my man Bernie Sanders, a beloved independent Senator from Vermont who's got one of the highest approval ratings in Congress. He just got re-elected last week with something of 70% of the vote.
