ponies. PONIES. stereotypically a thing for girls? theres also teh pinl, the lack of anything to make boys watch it, and the fac that its a fucking childs cartoon aimed at girls. stop trying to make aexcuses and accept it jeez

What about Ponies is specifically girly, though? Horses were used in war, and are signs of strength on coats of arms, right? "Strong as a horse," right? And what's lacking to make boys watch it? what would you include that's specifically boy oriented? And then we descend into dogmatism, "It's for girls because it's for girls." that comment didn't really make sense. As for making excuses, I just enjoy the debate, and want some logic to back it up.

ponies are not horses. ponies were used to carry women who were afraid too ride horses. and i refuse to have this argument because theres no winning. youre pulling apart every tiny thing while im working on vague stereotypes. i already asserted that i was aware people have their own opinions which may not fit the norm but society dictates a certain average, which is girls liking ponies and the colour pink and barbie, whereas boys are expected to like racing cars and robots and guns and whatnot. you knew that but you were beign too much of a pedantic prick and acting as thoguh youre from some utopaic society which has eradicated all gender roles and all that shite.

tl;dr stop being an immature prick, accept you watch a girls cartoon and move on, start wanking to it with little pictures of the characters glued on your nipples for all i care just stop trying to stop the fact its a girls show

And why, is what I'm asking? what specifically makes that feminine? Wasn't pink a boy's color before the fifties?

The fact of the matter is, is that its considered a girls show. If we look at society we can easily see that it was and is meant for girls. The entire thing is based on stereotypes. Stereotypes are based on what people have done or are doing. So in some sense stereotypes are true, although other than evidence of the stereotype nothing logically proves it is true. So, the argument is based on the propensity for girls to like pink, and "feminine" things, while boys have a propensity to like things such as rockets, guns, fighting and danger. We cannot prove our point other than showing that it has held true in most cases of society.

I can understand shooting it down when it's all in everybody's grill yo, but when it's a pony reference that makes sense in the context of the post or is funny for people who watch the show- similar to the comments and posts concerning pokemon or Attack On Titan- then it doesn't necessarily deserve a storm of red thumbs simply for being something people don't like. I don't watch or like Attack On Titan or Legend Of Korra, but I'm not going to obliterate any in-jokes posted in the comments or as content simply because of that.

The way I see it, it's created a vicious cycle. The more hatred the rest of the community spews upon the bronies, the more in-your-face "IM A BRONY AND PROUD" and trolling red-thumb-seeking turdnozzles are going to seep out of the woodwork, which will cause more hatred from the rest of the community.

Not to mention the nasty dichotomy floating around now that anime is becoming "mainstream". The weaboos and japanophiles are put down for being weirdos, but it is made VIOLENTLY clear that they are not the same as most people who watch anime. But, on the other side of the spectrum, the only bronies who appear to be represented are the......equivalents of weaboos and japanophiles, the ones the community calls 'autistic' and which wear fedoras and have walls plastered with pony posters and photoshop themselves into pictures with ponies and pretend they're real or whatnot.

TL;DR, some of the reaction is justifiable but has gone over the top, a vicious cycle of hate and retaliation has been created, and the dichotomy is just stupid and unfair to everyone.

Sorry about the wall of text, just trying to explain what I see going on.

No, it is not the school's job to present smokers with shelters because they can't be arsed to be decent human beings and stand somewhere else than in the entrance while sucking on their death sticks.
Our school didn't have a school yard and shared the building with lots of other companies as well, there was no place to build a shelter. That does not give you sick fucks the permission to stink up the stairwells, classrooms, entrance hall etc.

also the fuck on about sick fucks. close the fucking window and dont cry about it. if theres a person with asthma why is the window open in the first place, and why is smoking allowed within a certain distance of the building. thats a failing of your school, if someone came outside and said yeah your smokes causing a girl to SUFFOCATE BY GOING THROUGH THE WINDOW i MIGHT be inclined to move. but you are essentially being a massive fsacist cunt by saying 'if you smoke, yourea bad person'.

You said that if you don't have "the physical strength to make somebody stop doing something, then there is no use bitching about it" because there's nothing you can do. So if you want somebody to stop smoking near you, or if you want them to smoke in the designated area, you should assault them to get them to move.
