He looks so happy
its probably the most well made movie i have ever seen
im just kidding. the movie was actually really well done. even if i did make the mistake of drinking 2 big gulps right before the start of the movie
ah i see. i didnt realize you were joking about the runtime. i just really want to talk with someone about it. that ending i felt like i needed to punch something to feel manly again...
i hate to call it borring cause its not. but after 2 hours i was kinda like okay wrap it up.
i think thats just an inherent thing about blade runner. the movies are meant to be very slow. which isnt a bad thing.
as for the ending it didnt hit me as much. i made the mistake of casually seeing it in the theaters and then going to see the original afterwards
ah, yeah i can see how that could be the issue. the great thing about blade runner in both cases is the pacing. it feels slow but like you said it is meant to feel that way and it feels consistent, speeding up only when it needs to for its message to get across... all of the dialogue scenes were beautifully shot as well, plus the mind blowing scene transitions were so good.
thats weird that mentioned that. i thought about the transitions while watching the movie as well.
yes the cinematography was beautiful. it was no mad max. but it was still damn good.
and as for the pacing. i thought of it more like just a scifi noir/detective film. it was kinda cool to see a movie like that in 2017
leave it to hollywood to assume la will be the center of civilization but san diego will end up being a literal dump
i cant lie i hated the
double plot twist thing
also i littereally laughed out loud in the theater when san diego was la's dump. shit still cracks me up
exactly how i thought.(actual semi spoiler for the movie, nothing in detail but could ruin it if read):
plus i like how they were building towards one thing but then there was the reveal and that was amazing. plot twist in a plot twist. its enough of a twist to make shyamalamadingdong cream his pants
- why does he look stoned
Beclow Devin Xalutsot
because he is
The real question is: why is his uncle the one visiting him at school and not his dad? Obligatory because he doesn't have a dad.
Not a stoned look, that's a "I think I'm being savage" look
Obligatory because hes black.
Why are his ears pierced?
Kids had that before the fourth year of preschool when I grew up too, so like.. early 2000's
Was a white kid who went kinda wigger in style, but he was a pretty good guy behind that crappy way of dressing himself
