So, I saw this, and it really helped me get why I clicked with Rin's story so much. I had never heard of this before, but it seemed like it described me pretty well, so I went and researched it a bit, and then took an online test about it. Apparently, one of the symptoms is trying to understand your own emotions through others. Like when I came to you trying to figure out why I found Rin so fascinating. And, according to the test I show highly alexithymic traits.

So, basically, I couldn't understand the emotions I was feeling that were causing me to identify with someone who can't understand their emotions..... That needs a bit to sink in. Like, it seems so obvious, now.

That would explain why you like her so much.
Or why anyone likes any of the KS girls. It's not so much a romantic feeling as empathetic. You see yourself in them and can recognize that
