funkyrednipples (12/02/2012) [-] Maybe you're right, but while things sucked there was also really awesome things in the 90's. I mean today it feels like no real effort is put into anything. When's the last time you actually sat down to study for an exam. In today's time I think a lot of things are being done with no caution or effort. Most TV Shows are cancerous to watch, and if I imagine TV and the Internet by the time I don't live anymore, TV will suck major nuts. But the 90's was a time of awesome, where something cool was cool. I don't know, 2000 really isn't the hot shit either.  #52 -

If I had to name my top ten favorite TV shows, at least three of them are on right now. As for the "there's no effort" side of things, take a look at some of these gems from the 90s www.youtube.com/watch?v=yPslBGjuRL0 www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dn8vzTsnPps www.youtube.com/watch?v=1yw1Tgj9-VU www.youtube.com/watch?v=NHozn0YXAeE www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZyhrYis509A Everybody Says "oh, music in the 90s was so much better OMG Grunge!" forgets that grunge was popular for like two years, Beck had one hit, Radiohead had one hit, Biggie and Tupac died pretty early in the decade and that was it. Collective Soul, Creed, Limp Bizkit, Korn, Hanson, and a hundred other bullshit artists were the real sellers for the massive majority of that decade. In the last two years, Frank Ocean, Beach House, Kendrick Lamar, and Primus, have all had top five albums. That's freaking amazing. Three of the biggest hits of the year were, in order, a guy who sounds like Sting singing over a xylophone, an indie rock song about someone who physically scarred their girlfriend, and Korean Parody Rap. That's pretty cool  #49 -

People since the dawn of man have been saying that things are getting worse and worse because they aren't as great as the things you experienced as a child (which had no basis for comparison) yet here we are landing rovers on Mars and making a single blood test for every form of cancer there is. | ||
