Keywords can be really useful with Google. Ive never heard of this game before but all i did was put "car race game pool, golf rockets gadgets boosts game" in google and its one of the first results. Dont mean to be condescending, actual advice. Glad i could help

You cannot see PHP in your browser.
It is a pretty much fully functional programming language, mostly used for web stuff: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PHP

Javascript is client sided. Ex.: when you scroll on Google Images new images just keep appearing. That's Javascript doing it.

HTML is used to format text, put it into tables / columns etc.
But most of it is generated by PHP on load time, or by Javascript and added dynamically.
Styles, such as border sizes, colors, font sizes / colors, come from stylesheets instead of pure HTML tags like <font>.

"HTML is used to format text, put it into tables / columns etc. "
HTML is the content
literally
it's all the content you see

basically the building progress is like this
you start with HTML to make content
you add CSS to style it
you add PHP to make it dynamic
you add JavaScript to make it dynamic on the client side

all these steps do not work without the before mentioned ones

Either way, I prefer C++ over HTML / PHP / Javascript / Java.

yeah, everyone has their own field of expertise
+ they're totally different regions, like you can't C++ in a web browser, but you can't HTML on a desktop computer either then again HTML is markup not programming
there's this small thing you can PHP on a desktop computer but that's only CLI, you can't make a GUI like that
but yeah I prefer PHP over C++ but then again i've been in this business for 8 years i think
i'd like to do some C++ again at some point but so far i haven't had any time for it yet

Google Native Client allows you to use C++. And some other things do too.
HTML , Javascript, Flash are sometimes used for UI in desktop games. And maybe in console ones.

ah, okay. so then where would you see it on something like "inspect element", cause on this wikipedia page, i only see all the html stuff, what does the javascript or PHP really do?
