She's special forces in the British government! One of the recent characters I actually rather like. I believe she was introduced in Batman Eternal, which I highly recommend reading, whenever you get the chance!

Of course! I suggest going as far back as you can in Justice League (Not the new 52, but the actual stuff), and I think you'll find great enjoyment!

read fight club 2. it's totally deserving of a film adaptation. The actors are also the right age to reprise their roles.

tbh i actually kinda like the new direction DC is headed in. I mean, the Batman comic has been running for over 75 years with no massive change to the Batman character since Miller.

That's an interesting question! If I had to throw my stick, I would say Marvel, and not because of their heroes. DC's heroes could easily destroy Marvels - The issue is their eldritch abominations! Celestials are just the tip of the iceberg for them - Heck, if I had to throw a thought, Celestials are only at the power of New Gods.

The scary thing is, they have more powerful creatures. Some who could even defeat the Anti-M from DC.

Depends on your idea of productive; to me it is, and it keeps me active, and that's what matters.

I write stories, yes! I'm one of those lazy mooches who are 'working on that novel' that I'll never finish. It's a fun idea, but eh. I'm in love with the concept, anyway!

I honestly would never expect you to be anything like a mooch. Sure it's not probably just something like you hittin a slump? Plus, if you're able to be here on FJ everyday but still manage a social life then you are definitely one productive member of society.

Also, my definition of a productive member of society is pretty much someone who maintains a social structure of some sort without managing to blow something up. But as i'm sure you're aware, a lot of that stuff is based on point of view.

Fantastic Four #5 - Prisoners of Doctor Doom! Fantastic Four Annual #2, Fantastic Four #39, 40, 57, 196-200, The Amazing Spider-Man #5, Emperor doom... Honestly, anything with Doom in it is a solid read to start!

Three's not a lot! But it has indeed happened a handful of times, typically when working with the Joker.

However, even then, his anger seems proper for the setting, as if it's meant to get to the next part of the scene! It's all thought out, even down to his most outrageous moments!

Batman: Hush

He almost kills Joker because he persumably killed Batman's childhood friend Thomas Elliot (and other reasons included), but is stopped and persuaded not to by Catwoman and Gordon. Whether Batman tried to kill Joker for reasons above or because he was under Poison Ivy's spell that happens earlier is up to the reader to decide.

Basically the whole story arc is complete psycho trip for Bats, as he cannot trust his allies, his senses or his very self.

this is from Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight. It's from after the Joker blows up Rachel Dawes and Batman tries to cope with the loss by beating a whole load of people up.

The Dark Knight Returns. when Old Joker comes back into action, Old Man Wayne decides to kill him once and for all although with his arsenal of generally non-lethal weapons . Joker snaps his own neck right before Batsy can to deprive him the satisfaction.

Ah, well - In the graphic novel Joker, he raped a woman. The man characters ex wife. I hate, hate rape, so that would be my answer, even if it did suit the story perfectly.

However! 'The Murder Of Sarah Essen' is probably one of the better ones, when he's about to kill a -whole bunch- of babies he stole from a hospital. He forces Sarah, who was Gordon's wife, to choose between herself and the babies.

He shot her in the head, and admits it wasn't that funny as he walks away.
