Most of human behaviour is down to biological impulses and it always will be.
A woman that isn't picky about the father of her children is not a woman of high standards, meaning she is weak as far as genetics are concerned.
People know this whether we want to try and get away from the thought as possible or not. But we never will.
I never said they shouldn't be picky, on the contrary - they should. Just to not have a problem with approaching the person they picked.
Human beings are
not blank slates
, human behavior et al will not just change all at once because we discovered a new little pill that tricks the female body into thinking it's already pregnant. (That's how progesterone works BTW)
Humans have had the same biological anatomy, brain included, for 300,000 years. We have had the same kind of behavior for 40,000. We've only had these kinds of high-grade contraceptives for about 50. Do you
think that all of human society and our basic biological programming is going to be uprooted and changed in a
single human lifetime
? Individual humans can make those kinds of changes in themselves, but I'm not going to even entertain the notion that all of humanity can be changed that vastly that quickly without some MAJOR evidence.
I'm not saying they'll change so quickly, but that they have the responsibility to now, since there is no excuse not to anymore (also I'm a kissless 19yo virgin and am slightly salty after this one girl said she was into me but I had absolutely no social awareness then).
