 Finn should have been knocked on his ass in no more than 5 seconds and rey is not the more experienced fighter the amount of times she tries to just poke him with the saber looked ridiculous imo. I think it would've been loads better if they had lost it would've made kylo ren seem way more threatening #251 -
cockandballz (01/09/2016) [-] Finn is a trained soldier and actually pretty talented if you read that little prequel book they made and would know the fundamentals of melee combat, I think he lasted about as long as he should have being a non force user and all. Kylo Ren isnt supposed to be threatening, hes supposed to be a whiny wannabe Darth Vader who is getting pulled between the light and dark sides constantly and will have huge character development over the next episodes. | ||

 Something with a plot relative to the setting of the series. When I first saw the trailers I expected something like Devil May Cry - not the reboot or second game - you know, something with style and creative designs. Like, it made this big deal about Huntsman and Grimm, and how the Grimm are like an incarnate species of fear and evil, and I thought they would be out in the field doing more fighting. Instead we get some high school drama with not enough of the awesome fight scenes we saw. Hell, I watch the trailers still more than the actual episodes. And honestly? The only reason RWBY is still afloat is because of the cosplay, fanfics, and yuri. Without the RoosterTeeth advertisement, I doubt it would have lasted this long. Hell, the fanfics are better than the actual plot sometimes. Honestly? I'm more interested in what the villains are doing more the main characters are. tl;dr: RWBY is not what it could have - should have - been. | ||
