Unless the joke isn't very good, in which case you'd probably laugh by how bad it was anyway.

if you have a mind advanced enough, you can simulate the mindset of the people who make a joke you don't get or that offends you, and understand why they find it funny. Then it's just a tactical strategy to laugh in order to make them think that you are on their side,

Finding expressionism in wearing a giant carpet is totally over my head, to say the least. This kind of stuff is the kind of thing I would expect Tumblr to come up with.

Art is something admired on a mental and spiritual level and generally isn't ever intended for actual physical use as en everyday item like a tool. Clothing is generally worn for its intended purpose, to protect the body, but follows other purposes like following societal standards and for storing things through the use of pockets. I could understand someone like Lady Gaga using these as concept designs, but even then these are so abnormal I can't see any use coming from it.
User avatar #44 - churrundo (02/24/2014) [-]
All those designs are admired on different levels by different people who actually know about fashion design and it's possibilities as an artistic medium. None of them are supposed to be practical in any way, because none of them are clothing. If you can't see the use coming from any of these, then you can't see the use of painting the Mona Lisa, writing the 9th, sculpting the David, or playing 4:33.

I'm all for getting cool ideas, but I prefer functionality over anything else. A majority of these are incredibly inconvenient, with the giant backwards heels being a prime example.
