well for the tv thing, it doesnt mean it acts as a cable box, it means you can plug your box into it and use it on the same input. i do agree in a way though, that maybe they could make a less glorified one, for a cheaper price.

plus it's kind of scares me how all our technology's are getting mixed, pretty soon your phone,tv,computer,game system, toaster and god knows what else will be one product you can buy from one company

that isn't my point, i already have cable and a computer, why would i want something that does both these things but not as good as the devices i already have that were purpose built for that
