There are some pretty strong bug types, so that sounds reasonable. Now that I think about it, I also like Dustox. Why? I like his color scheme.

As has been said, yes, the are easy, and the closest to "casual" in their genre, but no, I wasn't saying that.

A massive portion of Nintendo's market was casuals. The only top game that was even close to not casual was Mario Bros (even that is pretty casual though these days with the auto completing levels if you fail repeatedly).

But no, I was putting SSB and Zelda into the nostalgia category. In the end, I don't consider either to be that spectacular of a game. They aren't bad, but Zelda has been one very specific game since OOT, and SSB hasn't had much more than roster changes and balancing has it?
Those who buy Nintendo for the main franchises (Zelda, Mario, SSB, Metroid) buy it for nostalgia of the Nintendo hey day and the games they enjoyed in their youth.

And it's because of the nostalgia of people like you that Nintendo lives...
The fact is, those games are to the Wii as Halo/Gears/CoD/NFL is to Xbox.
The Wii U is a nostalgia console.
The One looks to be the Bro console.
The PS4 is the core console.

And the PC is whatever the hell you want.
User avatar #41 - fxremastered (05/23/2013) [-]
PS4 is gonna get diablo 3, the new naughty dog series, new insomniac series... I guess I should mention killzone as well but I'm not a huge fan. PS4 will also get The Last Guardian.

Last Guardian is quickly rivaling DNF for time in development.

See. This is why I get confused and just buy all the consoles. I can't ever decide which is better
#235 - anonymous (05/25/2013) [-]
I've never understood that. I can see the Wii since Nintendo has so many iconic franchises, but why Xbox?

It's only exclusives are standard FPS's which can be found readily on any system (Halo, Gears, Alan Wake is on PC).
And now half of its exclusives are just the yearly sport titles (Those 15 they announced over the first year, NFL 2014, NBA 2014, UFC 2014, FIFA 2014, NFL 2015, NBA 2015, UFC 2015, FIFA 2015, another Halo and Gears or two, their racing game. I realize that they said something like eight new IPs.)

I like my Mega Venusaur "Jumanji." I'm enjoying my new Dusknoir "Shinigami." I like Malamar "Mal'kheshar." I'm still debating other dudes. Calm Mind is nice on Carbink. I love Delphox. Sleep Talk on a Guts Flareon is pretty sweet. The new crit ratios make a Sniper Kingdra with Focus Energy and Draco Meteor really tempting. I've somewhat grown fond of how weird Kecleon looks (sporting Protean of course). Tyrantrum is an awesome dinosaur (I wish his Hidden Ability were available). Narrowing down my choices is tough. Narrowing them down to Pokemon I like can be even tougher.

On another note, Frozen is surprisingly good. I recommend going to see it.

It's all good man, my team right now is just a ******* of level 30 phanpys. I'd get my ass kicked if I tried anything.

I'm doing okay so far. I haven't lost anybody and she's lost two of hers.

It was just her in-game team, so it was fun, but pretty easy.

Four down! here's her Mega Charizard now.
User avatar #71 - Vuumbleman (09/02/2013) [-]
What's up?

Sorry, didn't see this 'til now. Just flipping out over ********** mega-blastoise. I mean, just look at this badass.
User avatar #73 to #72 - Vuumbleman (09/05/2013) [-]
I know! Since i'm grabbing Chespin, using the Torchic, and I used Charizard on my last Leafgreen run and I used Venusaur on my last White 2 run, I'm going to pick Squirtle to round out the bunch. MegaBlastoise and MegaCharizard look badass! I'm a little disappointed with MegaVenusaur. I think he could have looked cooler with roots around his sides and arms. Like, a ribcage of roots and other roots spiraling around his legs. Just to make him look more distinctive.

Yeah, it feels like they just tossed a flower on his head. Like, I can see the other stuff, but it just doesn't stick out enough. But the other two more than make up for it.
User avatar #75 to #74 - Vuumbleman (09/06/2013) [-]
Oh yeah. I'm quite excited for it.

So I'm thinking Mega Evolutions are mostly for pokemon that need the stat boosts and just new ability options for pokemon that are already powerful. Some of the recent demo footage of MegaMewtwo using non-STAB, neutral damage moves on his opponents did about as much as I would expect a regular Mewtwo to deal.

I have a theory that's similar, but I'll describe it tomorrow. A little too drunk to put it into words. I agree with like 90% of what you're saying though.

Cool, night!

Dude, yes

This is a trainer. Its kind of sad the Furret didn't get to do much, but oh well. This is how its done. Utilize a pokemon's strengths to the maximum.
User avatar #63 to #62 - chthulhu (06/30/2013) [-]
Exactly man. This guy knows his **** , and uses it to **** everyone over. I love it.
User avatar #64 to #63 - Vuumbleman (06/30/2013) [-]
I'm subscribing. I bet we might could learn a thing or two.

My siblings are coming along with their pokemon games. The youngest is on my Leafgreen Version. He's at Victory Road and has half-way been training all his pokemon. His older siblings are not quite so well off. They're making progress, but they're falling prey to Single Pokemon Syndrome.
