Yes, and the fact that you had to die each time just to discover that needlessly intricate combination is what I'm saying makes it needlessly difficult. If it were just "Press the heavy attack button" or "Press the shield bash button" like would make sense, then I'd agree with you. But no, you have to do the first half of the Atari code. When I had the thought that it could be pressing two or more buttons at once, or doing some alternation of two or more buttons, I thought "There are more of those combinations than there are single button combinations!" which just added to confirm my initial hypothesis that it was just going to do this "Guess at what to do while I kill you" shit for the entire game...which it did.

Yes, two whole buttons that I would have had to guess at pressing in the correct fashion. If you really think the problem I'm having is that pressing the two buttons is physically straining, then you're either an idiot, or grasping at arguments. The point is this.

Guess a number between 11 and 99. Your character will die and have to restart at the very beginning each time you guess wrong.

If you still don't get the point after that, take a math class.

Mothafucking hydrogen sniffers.

It's a "sniffer" from the Leviathan series of books. It's a genetically breeded or altered (I dunno, I read only the first book and that was quite a while ago) species made to sniff out hydrogen on zeppelins which are actually flying fucking whales

the whole series is set in WW1 where Germany has a bunch of steampunk kinda mechas on their side and Britain, France, Russia etc. have all these different genetically engineered species (like the sniffers in the picture).

I mean Dragonriders cool the first time you see him. He early game so it's fair for him to be weak. Then you find an exact copy of him being backed up by a slightly smaller blue reskin with a bow and you're just like, ugh really.

Yeah I can understand that. It seems like every boss is tuned to be hard for a specific build, for example the Skeleton Lords were really hard for me on my mage, but a cakewalk on my dex build, while the Old Iron King was much harder on my dex build than it was on my mage

Skeleton Lords haven't given me trouble on any build. I thought they were toned down when I fought them in the beta for testing purposes. Nah they were still jokes in the release. Iron king only causes problems if you get him on the right side of the room. I was kinda disappointed by the direction they took with some bosses. Like Dragonrider and Ruin Sentinel.

Yeah they definitely went for quantity instead of quality this game. Some of the fights like the ones you're describing were pretty awesome though in my opinion, for example I thought the Skeleton Lords was a great concept

Yeah Skeleton Lords are alright concept wise. In terms of actual threat they're a joke. I'm not saying humanoid enemies are bad. I'm just saying that having so many variations on a simple form is a bit lazy.
