You're supposed to believe in prayer.

therefore, your prayers would never work, because you don't believe. other people's prayers are supposed to work because they believe.

it's not supposed to be like a math problem where you work half-heartily and get your solution.

(keep in mind i'm commenting on how it is supposed to work, rather than it's actual effectiveness. if you respond with a paragraph about how prayer doesn't work, i will know that you have no idea what i just told you.)

What is this, some Christmas movie? If you believe in it, it works. If you don't, it doesn't? No. That's not how it works, prayer doesn't do anything. It's time to grow up.

It doesn't matter what it's "supposed" to do, the fact is that it has no actual impact. Nothing you do or say will ever prove otherwise.

I think it would be funny if it had an impact. What if someone is praying for their son's life while the kid next door who is getting bullied by him is praying for his son's death? How does God decide? By who prays the hardest? By who is praying most eloquently? By who is jumping through burning hoops more gracefully while praying?

If prayer actually works, then Satan and his minions are probably spending most of their time watching a reality TV gameshow "Whose Prayer Will God Accept Anyway?".

Actually, I know that I need to do everything I physically can along with asking for help, because I'm not an idiot.

Your statement implies that prayer has any impact, when it has absolutely none.

So let me get this straight, while in human form Ariel maintains the ability to breathe underwater? We know she can only change back through Ursela's magic, we know that as a human she loses her gills and ability to breathe underwater, therefore while in human form (as seen in the picture) she is not able to breathe while underwater.

Dispute my logic.
