Well if you're ever bored and have Netflix or it's on TV, I recommend it. One of the few shows I personally sit down and watch attentively.

I haven't watched archer yet so I didn't get why it was funny.

The actual funny part in my opinions was just how different she looks! And get to watching Archer! It's hilarious! Probably one of the best cartoon comedies next to Bob's Burgers, and the main character in both shows are voiced by the same guy!

Well if that's the way you think I would ask you to take a long hard look at the middle east and tell me that religion isn't a hindrance on society.... also what kind of ideology would you want me to call it? The authors of the Bible were pretty damn close to cavemen, especially the guy who wrote the revelations.
User avatar #49 - chachawithbones (03/24/2014) [-]
Alright, that's completely true (first part) but I was focusing on more modernized societies. If we can expand ourselves, then I believe they can too. It's too easy to just blame everything on religion.

Religion had played a huge role in holding back society and still does, there's actually political leaders trying to impose their religion on people who want nothing to do with that religion so it's obvious that they should expect criticism.
#131 - anonymous (03/24/2014) [-]
dude people hold back society if you want a place for advancement make one there is nothing stopping you but fear.
User avatar #45 - kingnarnode (03/24/2014) [-]
A lot of atheists refuse to live and let live because many religious beliefs are a hindrance on society.... and it's especially annoying because thee beliefs are rooted in backwards caveman ideology. Thats great if you want to believe what you want and not bother anyone, but the fact of the matter is that religion DOES impact society.
#67 - gromgalgo (03/24/2014) [-]
Simple, but correct - I live in a society "runned over" by religious traits, and it's a massive hindrance to our social-development. Alot of simple shit takes ages to implement "because we have to take care of the Christian principles", yet only around 20% of the population is die-hard religious....

(To the comment bellow)
Saying that you "don't believe it's a hindrance" is worth as much to me as saying "I don't believe god exists" to you - You understand what I mean and where I am comming from, but as a believer - You know that I must be wrong.
User avatar #105 - chachawithbones (03/24/2014) [-]
Actually, I'm a very modernized Christian. I do accept that anybody could be right or wrong. I don't hold myself higher as I would expect from others. I'd rather believe in God and find out there isn't one, than not believe and find out there is one.
User avatar #47 - chachawithbones (03/24/2014) [-]
I don't believe that religion is a hindrance on society, we are amazingly advanced and that's undeniable. Religion does not halt science, but if you're talking about more humane aspects such as gay marriage, then I'd have to say logic and understanding is slowly beating old interpretations against the religious damnation of these topics (in other words, I strongly support gay marriage/euthanasia/etc.). I also find your caveman ideology comment unnecessarily insulting towards me, but I don't see why you should care.
