Normally I would agree with this.
Except America lost millions of dollars because they failed to convert between the metric system (which all the foreign scientists were using) and the imperial system (which only they were using) when they were building a Mars rover.
#68 - anonymous (01/11/2014) [-]
don´t wanna be that guy but your point doesn´t make sense like #38 said, the metric system uses 10^x for everything and most of the time the name says how to convert.
1 meter is 100 centimeter ( centi from latin "centum" means hundred)

1kilogramm is 1000 gramm ( kilo derives from the greek word for thousand)
bla bla bla
almost every little thing makes sense. that´s why it is called a system.
imperial system every factor is different ( i´m not butthurt. more confused about it)

Yah. I'm pretty much agreeing with you, I think the world needs a lot more career women and equality.
Plus I'm the type of guy that would probably become a househusband in the future, so it works out more for me.
Only thing that usually bothers me is when a women asks for equal pay in a physical labour job, your body is your salary and usually a women won't be able to compete with a man in purely physical labour. Apart from that I'm 100% happy with everything else, as I rejoice in having more career women.

The gun might help cause you sure as hell wont out-run a bear, no matter how fast you say you can run. The GSD will either run, or be killed. A pack of wolves can take on a bear but a single dog don't stand any chance at all.

Thanks Britbro, but it's cool. With my mostly untouched salary and no income tax, and my company-provided health insurance, I can afford my own co-payments for my shitty ears to be seen at the best hospitals in the world, thank you very much.
It beats getting taxed out the ass for services anyone under 40 (almost) never uses.

Sorry, I should have written: "guys wtf this shit is stupid amirite ain't even his middle finger yolo brocode bazinga wasabi honolulu". Attempting on proper English is just for euphoric fedora wearers anyway, right? (read: sarcasm)
And calm down. No need to fly off the handle over how people write. English isn't my first language, so I sorry if my writing offends you.

Couldn't find the one about the mechanics, but it looks like some more passed since then. I really hope feminists are proud. I have nothing against women, I just think 90% of women aren't equipped to be in combat arms, and almost none are equipped to be infantry.
Why can't you google this yourself?
#16 - commontroll (12/29/2013) [-]
Interestingly enough, looking back on history, while women were treated as lesser than men, they were also treated as more valuable and worth protecting. If five men were murdered, it was a tragedy and a terrible thing, but if four men and a woman were killed, you would have the full wrath of a nation upon your head.
I just find it interesting. Yes, they had no power back in the day, but really, nobody did. They were taken care of and protected at all costs. I don't see why that is a bad thing.
#19 - commontroll (12/29/2013) [-]
Certainly not in physical attributes. On a biological level, women are simply necessary for raising children for a long time. If she dies before a baby is born or can eat solids, the child will die. Because of this, we men had to become the physically strong ones who would go and take risks and be killed and kill. Simply put, we're more disposable, so we made sure we're harder to dispose of.
I actually tried explaining this to a feminazi before, and she was angry and upset because of me saying we're stronger, even though I was saying we're simply disposable and once we bust a nut or two, we're not needed, and we had to be able to work even harder to provide food for an entire family. We aren't stronger just so we can oppress women.
#20 - nospyonme (12/29/2013) [-]
That's not really what I was saying. Men and women approach problems differently, they aren't equal, they are different.
For thousands of years women washed cloths and dishes by hand, then when women were allowed to enter the work force and men started staying home, they invented washing machines.
#22 - commontroll (12/29/2013) [-]
Well, to be fair, that only happened thanks to in general, developing many different advancements in technology and machinery, as well as making running water available in almost every house. And women were still there, working around the house when the washing machine was invented, and almost all men were still in the workforce, as opposed to staying home.
#24 - commontroll (12/29/2013) [-]
I would guess it's more that the women became used to machines and realized they weren't these complicated things only men could figure out. While I'm sure a man invented it, it was probably due to the nagging of his wife. At that time a large amount of women went back to the household, not all, but a very large amount.
