Nyaaah, most games are optimized better for intel. AMD has cheaper alternatives with equal core numbers and clock speeds, but they aren't as stable and run warmer when overclocking. If you want a mid-end budget PC, AMD is better, but for something above $1500, I'd go for intel.

Well no shit. You said "bang for your buck" not "deep wallet, shallow soul" or anything.

Really though, that term is kinda broad.

If you have a $2000 computer that's 3x as powerful as a $1000 computer, well... do the math. Apart from the budget, the price/performance ratio is what matters.

The 670 is awesome for that, because it's basically a 680 that's at least $100 cheaper, and 95% as good.

That's a good bang for your buck card!

Thanks, didn't have a lot to work with on a $700 budget.

O.o
AMERICA IS CHEEP COUNTRY, COUSIN! LEND OF OPPORTOONETY!

But srs, that's cheap. I live in Norway and bought a PC in 2009 (just the tower) for the equivalent of about $900.

Asus P5Q Pro
Intel E8400
GTS 250
4GB RAM
500W PSU

Very simple computer, nothing fancy, just decently powerful hardware. Worked awesomely for it's time. Kinda outdated now only having dual core and a slow hard drive, though.

And I dunno why I like this gif.

But the Prepare to Die content has not yet been optimised for consoles because it came out on PC first. It's not like they finished the DLC for consoles and then started the PC Port.

It's been 3 weeks since release, give them some time. Not only are they probably working on fixes but they are also optimising the content for consoles.
