If only it were, because I certainly enjoyed Pocahontas a lot more.

Besides the alien gimmick doesn't prevent the characters and plot development from being generic.

It's a nice showcase of CGI, but has nothing to offer besides that.

the point you bring up has been heatedly debated. for example a lot of the more serious vegans consider red food colouring to be immoral because it requires a certain bug carcass.
typically it's down to the person making the choice. a lot of people eat animals because they consider animals to not be smart enough to contemplate their own existence.
but for me, i consider anything as smart as a rabbit, dog, cat, cow, chicken, etc to be smart enough to form relationships based on friendship.
as for fish, most of them aren't smart enough and i don't eat them because of the over-fishing crisis.

yep. major hypocrisy on their part. can't remember what disease it was (fatal and recently in the news, als because of the ice bucket challenge, maybe?) but peta slut pam anderson was bitching that the medical research for the disease should not be supported because, while currently the research doesn't generally involve animals, it did in the past, so that any research built on that past research shouldn't be supported. personally, i think she should be beaten to death with her own breast implants while someone explains to her in detail that the completely unnecessary medical technology that made her famous was made possible through animal testing.

nope. i completely agree with you that people who ignore human suffering for animal rights are idiots (see fucktard comment). that said, i do think that some humans deserve to suffer more than animals, i.e. child molesters, rapists and people who wear black dress socks with sandals and ask me "hot enough for ya?"
#65 - carbonlifeform (09/23/2014) [-]
my point is people have second thoughts about eating meat, but no one cares about kid suffering in war zones, people living a slaves.
and I'm supposed to care about a cow being slaughter.
don't get me wrong though I'm not saying i don't care about animals and unnecessary cruelty is wrong but in my most humble opinion eating meat is not up there on the list of horrible shit humanity has done.

~7.4 holocausts a day because of the meat industry alone.
this could be higher, it's only and average estimate.
User avatar #57 - puggles (09/23/2014) [-]
because they're idiotic fucktards?

but then again the argument could be made that quite a few humans deserve to suffer, while animals are pretty much innocent. for instance, i honestly would love to see them use prisoners with life sentences to test drugs on instead of animals.
#88 - xxxsonic fanxxx (09/23/2014) [-]
Because criminals aren't humans and impulse crime don't exist.

Animal testing is bad, but experimenting on humans is just wrong in any case. I don't care about how much suffering they have caused. Justice is not about vengeance. It's about what's best for society. And i don't wanna live in a society that induce fear and suffering on an offical and public scale. A murderer is a murderer/torturer is a murderer/torturer on whatever ground, including the state.
User avatar #95 - puggles (09/23/2014) [-]
fuck justice. i'll happily swap it for a little retribution/vengeance in a lot of cases. yes criminals are human, and impulses exist, but by giving in to those impulses and becoming criminals they prove they aren't worthy of assisting in the furtherance of the species and should be removed from the gene pool and in such a way that they do not drain resources from society. if medical testing is necessary i'd rather a worthless and useless human be used than an animal.

First off, in the end when he parks his truck, that's a perfectly good parking job.. he's inside his square completely. The white car was about 14 inches OVER the yellow line with the side of his car and if you look to the white car's left, there's about 2 feet of parking he could have used to better park his car. Not to mention despite the column being on the right hand side, he still backs into the parking space instead of front-in which would allow him to use less space and still open the driver-side door.
#29 - xxxsonic fanxxx (09/11/2014) [-]
The car is clearly over the yellow line.

I hope that the several hundred dollars that's coming out of his pocket will be worth it. In addition to all the rest he'll lose from increased car insurance.
#19 - fragman (09/11/2014) [-]
Increased insurance?
Where I live that only happens when they have to pay for something. With that video footage the insurance company is going to laugh way too hard at his claim, making him pay every cent of the damage
#72 - thismustbeseen (09/11/2014) [-]
Depends on what kind of insurance it is. There are plenty of companies that will pay for bullshit like this, and will happily raise their premiums as a consequence.
