Also the more you earn the more you pay taxes. for example
if you earn 4 millions you have to pay 2 millions in taxes

Yeah, that's more like it.
I believe that a man shouldn't be able to earn in a month what another man cannot in a year. Just because some people have to do shitty jobs doesn't mean their worth as a human is any less.

And some people will be like "Well, I wanted to be a doctor, which is more skilled and took a lot of time to accomplish, so why shouldn't I get paid more than a binman", well because you should go into that profession because you love saving people's lives, not because you love having a superior bank account; and in all honesty, waste disposal is a crucial function of society.

There's nothing controversial about this. The US warned Japan and they didn't listen. Sure it was a terrible act but the Japanese military had convinced everyone that Americans were monsters. Civilians preferred jumping off cliffs rather than be taken by American soldiers.

Yet another history revisionist that has Japan's cock up their ass because it's hard for them to believe the modern day sweet loving anime producing Japanese were the good guys in WWII.

Japan on multiple occasions sent peace offers to the U.S., yes, but they requested they return to a defacto status as before the war, meaning they kept all their colonies including the ones in China. Now, if you understand the war culture of Japan at the time, we can honestly say accepting that offer was NOT a smart idea. Which is why we didn't. They would of, in time, just repaired themselves, mobalized and attacked again. We called their bullshit, they didn't listen, we bombed them, their fault.
#89 - fireemblemrox (08/09/2013) [-]
What historical evidence? Japan was given multiple opportunities to surrender, and while you're partially correct because the Emperor of Japan was willing to step down as one of the surrender conditions of the U.S., his officers refused to allow him to do so until they too relented after the second bomb was dropped.

Feel free to deny this as "American propaganda" but come on, it makes sense for a guy living in America to have studied U.S History. And if you REALLY want to pull the propaganda card, I can just say that your evidence is propaganda too.

I study history at university, of course I am going to dismiss that evidence as propaganda; it's written with an agenda - to get you all to love 'Murica to the point where killing thousands in an horrific way seems legitimized.

#117 - captainreposty (08/09/2013) [-]
If you truly think that that is a third of his real fortune then their lies are more effective than first thought.

I've found it extremely difficult to earn this £10, I've been jobless for a month now and been applying to at least 30 jobs a day, so don't you dare have the audacity to belittle my achievement, even if it is relatively small. And there's a very good chance that some of this money will be going to a homeless guy near me.

#159 - captainreposty (08/09/2013) [-]
Challenging an overbearing authority or going against popular opinion is a common way to show that.

I recognize that war crimes have been committed by both the U.S.A. and the U.K. (and also NATO/the UN) in the name of removing a dictator; Iraq.
I also know that my money is printed by a private company who then charges me for it via taxes (the Bank of England/ Fed Reserve/ IRS).
I will never pick up a weapon and kill someone in a foreign country because a "superior" instructed me to. I have free will, a real free will, not a manufactured one, like so many people on here apparently do. I study philosophy, to a high degree, and would say I have a good understanding of the will, and of freedom and equality.

I don't adhere to any social norms; clothes/hair/music/anything, nor will I ever.
I am my own person, and I have certainly not been brainwashed.

As Mark Twain once said "Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect".

But I bet you're as spineless as the next Jew. Yes I am indeed morally superior to all those who negate responsibility to a "higher being", and I've never lent anyone money and then asked them for "interest", because that is simply the dirtiest way of making money.
I don't know who you are, nor do I care who you are. All I know is, that 4 Jewish families control the Federal Reserve, and all American taxes go not to the American government, but to the privately owned Federal Reserve (something unconstitutional).
